Fort Lauderdale Vacation Rental townhome

We have stayed at many vacation rentals, Florida, North Carolina, Virginia, etc.; this was, without question, the best accommodations we have ever had.
The location is very good, a short walk to Los Olas Boulevard, the shopping arcade of Fort Lauderdale, and, for the more energetic, a longer but still doable, walk to the beach. It is very quite, with a wonderful night view of the downtown Fort Lauderdale. The town house was exceptionally clean and very comfortable. The kitchen was very well equipped with quality appliances that actually worked and premium china and stemware. One of the guests, upon returning home, immediately ordered a place setting of the china. Initially some of the folks thought the decorating scheme was somewhat “over the top”, but these are Midwestern folks, used to “dull, drab, and boring” (guest quote). They became converts to the Miami style, appreciating the “lively and exciting” painting style. My wife and I chose the top floor master bedroom; there is a second master, with a whirlpool tub, on the second floor. It was a good choice. At night, we could open the doors at either end of the room, turn off the A/C, and have a cool breeze all night. There is much to recommend about sleeping in the tropics. And regarding sleeping; the beds, without exception, were amazingly comfortable. We actually stripped the bedding to find the name of the manufacture. The elevator proved to be of great value. We had a guest that had difficulty walking and the working elevator was of great value to her, and me when I moved the luggage.
But the best part of the vacation was the great assistance we received from Norman and Harry. They were amazingly accommodating; there assistance and advice was greatly appreciated. The only minor problem was the internet connection sometimes did not work.
