Great location, cozy condo

We stayed here for opening weekend in Breckenridge and loved it. We only had three people- myself, my fiance, and his brother. There are two queen sized beds- there is a bed in the loft and a small bedroom right off of that. I think three or four people would fit great but more might be too cozy. There is a small bathroom upstairs, but the downstairs bathroom is much nicer and updated. The kitchen is small but well equipped- if we had stayed longer I wouldn't have mind cooking here. There's a full size fridge, range, oven, and lots of pots/pans, etc. The fireplace is cozy and warm, and the living room furniture is very comfortable. Beds were comfy too. Read all the instructions for the heaters, fireplace, and humidifier- when its chilly you will want to use all of the above! The balcony was nice with a great view. The condo is on the third floor. Plenty of ski storage in the unit and in a locker. We loved the cozy condo, but the location was perfect. Just a few blocks to Main Street, the gondola, and there are two lifts that are very close. When the four oclock run is open you can ski almost all of the way back. The property was clean, as described, and well maintained. The owners were friendly and easy to work with via email. It snowed during our stay and they were plowing right away. Check out Cool River Coffee House for breakfast and coffee. We also ate at Motherloaded (casual bar atmosphere, comfort food) and Fatty's (on Ridge Street, pizza & pasta, sports bar atmosphere), which were both good and in walking distance. Overall, the condo was a great value and we enjoyed our stay.

Breckenridge Sundowner I Condos are located less than five minutes walk to the lifts at Peak 9 and the Snowflake Lift to Peak 8 at the Breckenridge Ski Area. Breckenridge has been ranked among the top 25 ski resorts in North America by Ski Magazine. Winter activities include downhill skiing, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, ice skating, and snowmobiling. The historic town of Breckenridge is one block away with interesting shops, great restaurants and exciting nightlife. Summer activities include bicycling, hiking, rafting, golf, tennis and horseback riding all in the beautiful Rocky Mountains. World class fly fishing is available within an hours drive and several guide shops are located in the town of Breckenridge. A swimming pool and hot tub are conveniently located just steps away from our parking lot.

Ski: The Village at Breckenridge, Peak 9 is less than a five minute walk from our property. This base area has full facilities for ski rental, lessons, equipment purchase and restaurants. The Snowflake Lift which services Peak 8 is also approximately five minutes walk. This lift takes skiers to the ridge above Peak 8 where the skier can ski down to the base of Peak 8. Full facilities for ski rental, lessons, equipment and lodge are available there. Shuttle bus access is available at the end or our driveway for access to the new gondola which services Peak 7 and 8 from the main parking area in town. It is possible to reach this gondola on foot, but it will require a longer walk than to the Snowflake Lift to Peak 8, or the Village at Peak 9.
