Stunningly beautiful mountain house!

Gorgeous, modern, spacious, multi-level mountain ski chalet (house) full of light and windows (the house is even nicer than the photos depict). We've been spoiled and won't be able to return to staying at the Juniper Springs Lodge after staying in this house. Two car garage; heated entryway to store skis and ski equipment with boot and mitten driers; master bedroom with steam shower, luxurious bath tub, and hot tub on the balcony just off the master bedroom; Miele and Gagganeau appliances; and floor to ceiling picture windows that gave us front row seats in the living of the snow storm, made cozy by a wood burning stove (with a gas fireplace in the master bedroom).
My wife and I and 2 adolescent boys stayed in the house, but it easily could have accomodated a second family. Ski access requires a 5-10 minute walk up the street with a fairly easy drop-in and an approximately 30 yard ski through the trees to the main slopes at Canyon Lodge. My wife is an experienced beginner/low intermiediate skier and did not have any trouble with this. Never tried skiing the return from the slopes back to the house or drop-in point, which I understand is a little more challenging, and since I only skied one day, my quads were burning, but I was able to get a ride with a samaritan for the 1/2 mile drive from Canyon Lodge back to the house.
Communication with the owner was a pleasure, and the property manager and housekeeping staff were all very sensitive and responsive. A delightful house and great value, especially given some of the dark houses advertised on the web.
