The Aspen Leaf House is a beautifully decorated, newly constructed home just minutes from the world-class slopes of Breckenridge Resort. There are incredible views from every room and every window of this home. Spend a week relaxing, playing, shopping, sightseeing, eating, and indulging! FREE SKIING is included with the rental of this house. Guests enjoy the use of TWO Summit Foundation Passes that provide FREE SKIING at all four Summit County ski areas: Breckenridge, Keystone, Copper Mountain, Arapahoe Basin and Winter Park PLUS Vail and Beaver Creek also we included a free parking card for the north and south Gondola lots. They are completely transferable, so each member of your group can benefit from the FREE SKIING. These passes also provide discounts on lessons, rentals, and food throughout the County.

Bedrooms are either carpet or wood. *Heat is radiant floor heat so even the bathroom tiles are warm to the feet. *The attached garage is heated and provides plenty of storage for all your outdoor gear. *There is a large screen TV with built-in, surround-sound system, outdoor speakers (on the hot tub deck), CD, and DVD. *The fireplace is gas, so it is cozy yet easy to enjoy. *All linens and towels provided, and even plush robes to slip into after a relaxing soak in the tub. Every year I get together with four of my friends for a Writer's Retreat. We work on screenplays, short stories, novels and so on. This year it was my turn to host in Colorado. Needless to say there is a bit of pressure involved in hosting, in particular in choosing the perfect locale to inspire our muse.

The Aspen Leaf House in Breceknridge turned out to be a perfect selection. Close enough to town to easily accommodate our last minute runs for food and libations yet removed enough to provide us with the much needed isolation to create.

The interior is wonderfully laid out with a very comfortable great room for us to congregate in at night to discuss the day's work. The gas grill and kitchen were well tended to and very well laid out for our nightly cooking needs. We didn't need to eat out at all, which is also part of the allure of our gatherings. Sitting together a the property sharing a freshly cooked meal in the Aspen Leaf House is a memory we all will take with us for quite some time.

The only real drawbacks to the property were the wraparound sofa in the great room was slightly broken (the owners told me that they were considering replacing it in the near future) and all of the bathtubs in the property drain incredibly slowly, such that we needed to clean the tub after nearly every shower or bath.

But these are both minor complaints. The Aspen Leaf House was a perfect locale for our retreat. We would recommend it highly.
