This is a wonderful location, 5 minutes to the 'Y', 10 minutes to beaches, 15 minutes to skiing, and 15 minutes to the Stateline. Close to all that South Lake Tahoe offers but on a large county lot with plenty of elbow room. This location is in a beautiful neighborhood. There are wonderful views of Mt. Tallac from the decks and living areas.

Skiing at 4 Resorts Within 30 Minutes: Heavenly Valley with world class resort and Sierra at Tahoe a boarders paradise, are 15 minutes away. Kirkwood gets great snow and a large following of devotees is 30-40 minutes (depending on roads) away and Homewood is a great family place that is budget friendly and just 30 minutes away (get road reports before going).

Great Access To Beaches and Bike Trails: Some of Lake Tahoe’s finest beaches are on Lake Tahoe's south shore between Regan's Beach and Emerald Bay. The beautiful clear blue waters of the lake make a very enjoyable day if you are on the lakeshore or on the water. There is boat, jet skiing, parasailing, Emerald Bay Paddle wheeler excursions, dinner and champagne cruises and more available. Bike trails range from easy family outings to difficult mountain bike terrain.

Hiking Along Tahoe's Rim Trail or many others: Take a real trek on the Tahoe Rim trail or enjoy one of the many easy to moderate hikes for a morning or afternoon of exercise and beauty. Some or our favorites - The Rubicon trail from Bliss Park into Emerald Bay, Angora Lake trail, Fallen Leaf Lake trails, Echo Lakes trail and more. Remember to pack a swim suit and lunch.

this was a great choice for my party. we had a total of 11 people and everyone slept comfortably. upon arriving, youre greeted with a 'home' feeling so settling right in is virtually instant. plenty of room and car space in a quiet area. definitely recommend to anyone thinking of takin a small group to south lake tahoe.
Owner's Response: It delights us that our guests have the same feeling of "home" that we have at our home in Tahoe. We appreciated this guests professionalism in the transaction.

This place worked out wonderfully. It is (generally) equidistant from the South Lake ski resorts, very good market within walking distance (Lira's), and reasonably priced. I especially liked that two of the rooms had separate twin beds (good for groups that are not all couples). Parking is tight, so make sure you adhere to the posted parking requirements. The kitchen has all the necessary gear...including a wafflemaker! Thanks again for a great weekend!

Oh my gosh Mary and Dennis your place is the
BOMB! We were so blown away with the
spaciousness of the private little living areas, the
spacious and fully loaded kitchen where we all hung
out most of the time. It was perfect for our group
of 11 with 6 Adults and 5 children/teenagers. We
will definitely be back each year if it's available.

Comfortable Holiday Getaway

Our family (grandparents, grown children, and grandchildren) enjoyed our stay here. We had several days of skiing, several for snowmobiling and playing in the snow, and several for just relaxing. The house was close to main roads and attractions but quiet - with space for several different activities to take place at the same time and a well equipped kitchen. There were books and games to supplement what we brought. We enjoyed our stay. The house was as described, well maintained, and very comfortable.

We went, along with another family, to stay in this home . It was the perfect layout. We each had our own space when we needed it or needed the children to settle down and get ready for bed. Each floor has its own living area. We felt very comfortable as if we were in our own home. The kitchen is very spacious with everthing you could need. You literally just need to bring yourselves, clothes and get some food. That is very convenient when several children are in tow. I also really liked that the children could play in the snow in the back safely away from the road. The home is just a few miles from the casinos and stores allowing us to feel that we were far enough away from it all, yet close enough to do things. Dennis and Mary have been a pleasure to work with. We look forward to renting again next year.
