Things to Do in St Thomas: If you're adventurous, you might want to take a 5-minute hike to nearby Caret Bay for snorkeling, surfing, swimming, or maybe a little fishing. More populated beaches such as world famous Magen's Bay, downtown Charlotte Amalie with it's fabulous restaurants and shopping, and fun tourist attractions are a short 15 minute drive of the villa. More outdoor adventures await a bit further afield on the island's East End. You can catch the ferry at Red Hook Terminal to visit historic St. John, or spend an afternoon exploring Coral World Marine Park, St. Thomas's amazing undersea aquarium. Great swimming and snorkeling can be found at Sugar Bay and Pineapple Beach on the East end with many options for recreational water sports nearby. Choose from activities such as scuba diving, parasailing, windsurfing, jet-ski rentals or day sail charters. After days filled with sun and fun, drive the short distance back to the serene verandas of Whale Watch Villa

Our family spent 35 wonderful days at Whale Watch while house-hunting on St Thomas. The villa was so comfortable, peaceful, quite and decorated beautifully. Though our stay was in the heart of summer, the fresh breeze kept the villa nice and cool. Even during the day, we rarely needed the A/C. We have two young girls that, like us, absolutely loved the villa. Our three year old actually learned to swim in the pool. We hated to have to leave.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Sightseeing, Romantic Getaway, Families with Young Children
Owner's Response: We were thrilled to host the "Coastie Movers" at Whale Watch and are so pleased that they loved it as much as we do! The villa is the perfect temporary place to stay for any couple or small family relocating to St. Thomas.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Whale Watch Villa. It was beautifully decorated (I loved the island turquoise bedroom). It was very well appointed (I had everything I needed in the kitchen and my husband love the big screen T.V.). We spent the majority of our time lounging by the private pool on the deck with awesome views and a lovely breeze. We seemed so far away from the hustle and bustle of downtown St. Thomas and yet we were only about a 15 min drive to endless shopping and sites. We would definitely come back here! Thank you for your lovely home.

We stayed at the villa in January 2007. What a wonderful place. The furnishings are so comfortable and attractive; the kitchen is beautifully equipped. The family photos and decorative touches made us feel as though we were guests in a lovely home. The views are spectacular, no matter what time of day or evening. And, oh that heavenly breeze! We can't wait to come back.

We had an opportunity to stay at this fabulous villa in December The weather was fantastic. Upon entering, the decor has splashes of island pizzaz which invites you to explore the rest of the villa. Upstairs are two spectacular beautifully decorated bedrooms and baths. Each bedroom has its own awesome balcony with an incredible view of the ocean. Downstairs off of the dinning room,is an inviting private swimming pool. The deck spans three quarters of the villa. As you look onto the sea with its tranquil setting, you feel like it is you own private beach. Our stay at this villa was truly an experience of a life time. We are looking forward to staying at the Whale Watch villa again soon. PAD Orange County California
