During winter months you may see migrating whales from the villas's expansive decks - and there's no extra charge for the glorious sunsets, beautiful starlit nights, and the gentle surf sounds and tropical breezes that will lull you to sleep at night. Quiet and sophisticated with two comfortable queen bedrooms, the villa offers maximum privacy and is a perfect retreat for one to two couples or a small family. Beautifully appointed, furnishings are stylish and modern and include thoughtful personal touches that add to the warmth and welcoming ambience. The newly remodeled kitchen is fully equipped, featuring granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. Patio furnishings and a gas grill are provided for alfresco dining. Things to Do in St Thomas: If you're adventurous, you might want to take a 5-minute hike to nearby Caret Bay for snorkeling, surfing, swimming, or maybe a little fishing. More populated beaches such as world famous Magen's Bay, downtown Charlotte Amalie with it's fabulous restaurants and shopping, and fun tourist attractions are a short 15 minute drive of the villa. More outdoor adventures await a bit further afield on the island's East End. You can catch the ferry at Red Hook Terminal to visit historic St. John, or spend an afternoon exploring Coral World Marine Park, St. Thomas's amazing undersea aquarium. Great swimming and snorkeling can be found at Sugar Bay and Pineapple Beach on the East end with many options for recreational water sports nearby. Choose from activities such as scuba diving, parasailing, windsurfing, jet-ski rentals or day sail charters. After days filled with sun and fun, drive the short distance back to the serene verandas of Whale Watch Villa

Our family spent 35 wonderful days at Whale Watch while house-hunting on St Thomas. The villa was so comfortable, peaceful, quite and decorated beautifully. Though our stay was in the heart of summer, the fresh breeze kept the villa nice and cool. Even during the day, we rarely needed the A/C. We have two young girls that, like us, absolutely loved the villa. Our three year old actually learned to swim in the pool. We hated to have to leave.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Sightseeing, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
Owner's Response: We were thrilled to host the "Coastie Movers" at Whale Watch and are so pleased that they loved it as much as we do! The villa is the perfect temporary place to stay for any couple or small family relocating to St. Thomas.

We really enjoyed our stay at the whalewatch villa. Unfortunately our stay was really too short to fully enjoy it. I would recommend at least a week stay. It truly is a beautiful place. The owner Kristen was great to work with as I've never done a vacation rental before. And scott was very helpful giving us some ideas of what to do and where to go. He even made dinner reservations for us our first night at a cute place called "Craig and Sally's".

This is a great place to stay in St Thomas. Very well equipped! Is exactly what they advertise it to be and then some!! We would recommend this villa to anyone. Owners are very professional to deal with! If we had to think of any suggestions for improvement, it would be to upgrade the beds as they were not very comfortable and we had back aches in the morning. But when you are in a great place like this who really cares....Scott White the onsite manager was a big help in showing us everything and making recommendations!
