Maui Banyan is a great family resort, with nine acres of lush tropical gardens, 2 pools, 2 Jacuzzis, tennis court, gas BBQs and free parking. The condo is located in a quiet area of the complex, just steps from world famous Kamaole II Beach. Shopping, restaurants, and nightlife are just up the sidewalk and within walking distance.

We had a great stay. Condo was nice. Had view of the ocean, nice sun rise & sun set views, easy walk or drive to eating & shopping. Facities had 2 pools & Weber grills for cooking out on. We would stay there again.

The condo location was very good. Plenty of room and great lanai. We did encounter a few things however, that would make us hesitant to return. The floors were not cleaned before we arrived, laundry area a mess, shower in master bath not clean, and were under seige by cockroaches. One of these ugly bugs stowed away in our luggage! Something to think about!!! Also, due to the multiple stairs to get to the condo - it is not for anyone with a disability, or the elderly. Parking was difficult - requiring a lot of "hiking."
Owner's Response: The condo was thoroughly & professionally cleaned by our cleaning service the morning of the guest's arrival. A "Quality Inspection" was performed by the owner of our cleaning service 1 hour prior to their arrival. No bugs were found and our HOA treats each building and unit monthly.

The laundry area the guest refered to, doesn't exist. The condo has its own 1 year old stack washer and dryer. It is located inside the condo, in a separate closet.

The elevator is 20 feet from the front door of our condo, so stairs shouldn't be an issue for anyone with mobility issues.

The resort was only 30% occupied during their visit. There are at least 2 parking spaces for every rental, so an abundance of extra spaces with minimal walking were available. The parking structure and exterior lot are located directly across from the front door of the building. The distance is ~40 feet, so no "hiking" is involved and access is very convenient. Specially marked parking is provided for our guests with disabilities.

This was our third trip to Maui and we've stayed at the Maui Banyan each time. We love the proximity to Kamaole II, the short walk to great restaurants and bars and the casual atmosphere. The staff did not balk at our request to host 20 guests by the pool for a pre-wedding BBQ for our son and his fiance (can't say enough positive things about destination weddings!). The Maui Banyan will continue to be our home away from home and we look forward to returning.

The condo was beautiful and was perfect for our family vacation! Our family of four stayed in one bedroom and my parents stayed in the second bedroom. The condo was clean, spacious, and had a well-stocked kitchen where we had breakfast daily. We also used the grills down by the pool for dinner one night (well-maintained, clean, and lighted at night). The kids enjoyed the pools and we were a short walk to the beach. Having a washer and dryer in the condo was a huge convenience. The rental process was very smooth. We would definitely stay again!

Had a great time at the condo. It was spacious and well equipped with everything you could need. The condo was clean and had a nice view of the ocean. Property is well kept with a nice pools, BBQ's, and close proximity to shopping, restaurants, and the beach.
