This is a comfortable, cozy, summer cottage on the shore of Cobbetts Pond. Imagine breakfast on the porch with spectacular views of Cobbetts Pond and Searles Castle . This is the perfect place for a quiet get-away with the pond just steps away for swimming or canoeing. Cobbetts is a large pond, approximately 3 miles long and an average 3/4 mile wide. The clear water is warm with the occasional refreshing cool spring rising from the pond floor as you swim. Located on a peninsula, cool summer breezes in the shade of our pines make this the place to be on those hot summer days. Only 35 miles north of Boston, it's the perfect place to enjoy New England. With a major interstate highway nearby, you can enjoy camping and still explore much of New England within a one hour drive. With many major shopping areas as well as local supermarkets and gift shops, there is no roughing it! Give your family that summer vacation and spend your vacation unwinding in this mellow setting!

Comfortable waterfront cottage on Cobbetts Pond offers camping the way it ought to be! Spectacular view of the lake: Relax on the screened porch and watch the lake activities. Enjoy watching the wildlife on the lake, go fishing, or enjoy bathing at your private swimming area. Canoe is available for exploring the shoreline. A 5 min walk to Johnson’s Farm complete with vegetable stand, ice cream, and farm animals. Next door is Griffin Recreational Park with tennis courts, jogging track, playground and rollerblade park. A 10 min. drive to local attractions like Canobie Lake Amusement Park, Rockingham Park Racetrack, numerous golf courses and Mystery Hill Archeology Site. Just 45 min. from Boston on I-93 north over the MA/NH border. Take exit 3 and you are practically there! Perfect center point for day trips to the ocean or to the mountains - especially during leaf peeping season!

We had a great week on Cobbetts Pond. The fish were biting, the lake is lovely, and the owners/hosts are friendly, responsive, and accommodating. Home is well located for visiting Boston/Hampton Beach/Canobie Lake. House is well-maintained. Deck is terrific. There's a small farm with petting zoo and ice cream stand at the end of the road and a huge public park with tennis and playground there as well. We'd go back. It's a great vacation spot. Ideal for young kids who can swim, fish and canoe (canoes and lifejackets provided) right at the home.
