HORSE COUNTRY, FISHING PONDS CREEKSIDE HOME, WINE TASTING

I would definetly reccommend this rental to anyone with a large group, dogs or children. We had 3 couples, 2 infants and we were able to bring two labs and a husky and didnt have to put them on leashes for the 4 days we were there. The fishing pond is complete with its own rowboat and the sound of the creek make this a nice house that feels very secluded, although it is close to the vineyards, store, etc. There is no poison oak anywhere on the property. The renters are very nice and accomodating. They were flexible with check in/out times and supplied all the firewood for the fireplace, all the linens and lots of towels. There are lots of picnic tables and 2 outdoor BBQ pits. Lake Nora and Grace are a nice place to picnic, but thats about it They should be called ponds, not lakes. The pond on the property is nicer than they are(and not much smaller). If fishing is your thing I recommend the pond for Bass and all the surrounding creeks/streams for flyfishing. Battle creek is very close and the flows look great. The house is good size and the couch also folds out into a bed. There are also several small vinyards that the ladies in our group had a wonderful time visiting for the afternoon. The property is truly nicer than advertised and is well maintained. The smooth flooring made having the dogs in the living room worry free and easy to clean. Overall it was a great couple of days and Im sure we'll be back.
