You have arrived!! It's time t o unwind and enjoy your vacation!

Open the door and enjoy your " home from home" in this comfortable 2 sty situated on a hill above Ocean Beach with views of the Ocean, Mission Bay, Sea World and La Jolla.

Situated in a safe and quiet residential area, with easy access to beach and town this home is just 10 mins from Downtown San Diego and the airport plus an EZ drive to all the fun stuff SD has to offer. Whether you are here to take it easy or hit the night spots this location is convenient for all.

7 blocks from Ocean Beach, a sleepy little beach town famed for its Farmers' Market, antique stores, restaurants, beach and long pier.

This 2800 sf home has large rooms and makes an ideal site for a Family Reunion or a spot for friends to get together. . All bedrooms open to decks giving a delightful indoor/ outdoor feel. People always comment that there's plenty of space for group activities but lots of private space to go and be alone. For convenience there is a Master suite on each floor.

Bedrooms are as follows:

Downstairs Master has KING bed and attached shower bathroom.

Upstairs is the " dormitory" with 4 X single beds and a pac n play

One very large BR with QUEEN bed and a 2nd master suite with QUEEN bed and full bathroom.

There are 4 bathrooms with 2 on each floor.

Indoor laundry.

The secured back yard is filled with colorful tropical foliage and you will enjoy viewing the wild parrots that fly over head.

Love to walk? You can take a stroll to the village or along Sunset Cliffs.

. Take a beautiful drive along the harbor and head towards the famous Gas Lamp area in Downtown , San Diego.

About The Owner

Mick and I moved to San Diego from Africa about 22 years ago. That was the BEST move we ever made! We were fortunate to come to San Diego and find Ocean Beach which has so much character. This house was our primary residence but is now too big for the 2 of us.

The light and feel of the home is up-lifting, I always feel so good when I'm there.

When we first owned the property it was a very rough little 2 BR but Mick is a contractor and was able to turn the ugly duckling to a swan! You'll love it.

What makes this house unique

We love the space and light and always feel as though we are on vacation when we are there.

Fantastic Fourth of July Experience for Whole Family!

We are just back from a week in this terrific home. From booking until leaving, the experience was very positive. Mick and Sue were wonderful to work with, the house was just as seen in pictures and described with words, and the location was really convenient and ideal! We were there with children and grandchildren and then joined for some family times by my husband’s sister , her children and grandchildren. We often ate meals together and played games here. The little kids really enjoyed the playhouse and backyard! The home’s size was super for us. Each evening ended with the magical fireworks display at Sea World watched from the second floor balcony. Thanks, Sue and Mick, for a fantastic Fourth of July week!

a 50th to remember!

Our party of 9 (6 adults and 3 children) arrived last week and today our memories are fabulous! What a a great house! Quiet, separate, enclosed sleeping arangements for 3 families (or more) provided privacy and ease of putting children down for naps and at night. Lots of ammenities that families would like: pots, pans, cookie sheet, toaster, coffee maker, you-name-it, it was there, along with kitchen utensils, plus a fridge-freezer with ice maker, provisions for keeping it all clean: surface wipes and paper towels. Bathrooms with plenty of shampoo and soap and towels galore, and lots of toilet paper. With kids we used the washer dryer frequently, and the dishwasher as well. Patio furniture, and grill next to the large spacious family room, AND a dining room for our 50th anniversary dinner... Teddy bears for the kids, this house had everything, including a play house in the back...Our four-year-old announced upon arrival "I live HERE!" What a wonderful experience for us first-time vacation house renters! This is not the "norm", it's the ideal! Thank you for the perfect place and the memories!

What a wonderful experience! This house was incredible -- so much so that we will be back next summer. The rooms are excellent and it really did accommodate the 8 of us in comfort. It was great to have a kitchen and laundry room. The porches were a treat. You can't do any better than this home away from home!

Wonderful Experience

We stayed at this beautiful home and in awe with the magnificent views of the ocean from the balcony. The Ocean Beach, restaurants, boutiques are nearby; the neighborhood is tranquil and safe. The bedrooms and 4 bathrooms were large to accomodate and entertain my family and guests. We had a wonderful time and having to stay at this home made it even more special. We highly recommend this home and would love to return in the future.

Multi-generational visit to San Diego

We had a wonderful visit to San Diego and this house was perfect for our family get together. From ages 25 - 80 we all had so much fun visiting the city, spending time with each other, and were so comfortable in this home. We loved the location, the flowers, the view, the fireworks, the kitchen, the decks, and on and on. We had 4 couples and all the bedrooms and bath rooms worked out great for us, and my 80 year old parents were happy to have a downstairs suite! We had one small problem with bedding, but found adequate linens in the house to solve that problem and the owner was gracious, when informed. The owner was great to give us recommendations for restaurants and grocery stores and to answer any questions before and during our visit. We tried Tender Greens and Hodads restaurants and loved them both! Vons and Trader Joes worked great for groceries too. I highly recommend the home. If we come back, this is where we would like to stay.
