About Michael Hunt
I bought the villa some years ago primarily as a holiday home. I was attracted to the villa because of the beautiful views of the bay it overlooks, the tropical gardens which surround the house, and because of its size and location. Because I live and work in London, I can only visit St Lucia a few times a year, so I rent it out to family groups when I'm away
Michael Hunt purchased this villa in 2005
Why Michael Hunt chose Castries
If you need a holiday break in the sun, quite near the centres of activities, but in a beautiful and peaceful location, then you won't find a better place on St Lucia.
What makes this villa unique
Whenever I return, I feel the sense of tranquility which I first experienced when I first visited the house. I spent over a month on the island about 8 years ago looking for a holiday home. Because it is a 'Wayne Brown' designed house - he specialized in this style of plantation villas - it is cool and spacious even in the hottest months of the year.
When I visit, I spend most of the time on the balcony which has 180 degree views both over the gardens and the bay. Most nights there is a beautiful sunset, and there is nothing better in life than sitting out on a patio chair, looking out over the Bay, and savouring the first Sundowner of the evening.
