This contemporary house has over 300 feet of direct waterfront. It sits on the point of a small private community called Lord's Point. Stunning views of Fisher's Island Sound form every room in the house. Lord's Point has Community tennis and basketball courts, community beach, dock, boat ramp. Moor your boat directly in front of the home. Fishing, kayaking, windsurfing, snorkeling directly from property. Attractions nearby include Mystic Seaport, Village, and Aquarium. Minutes to Casinos and to various State Parks, Misquamicut State Park, shopping, dining. Wildlife and bird watching is excellent. Numerous birds visit the rocks at low tide. Each season has unique charms and different visitors, In March and April seals frequently rest on the rocks. Lord's Point community is made up of approximately 115 homes, many of which are seasonal. There is a newsletter and a community center with various community activities and gatherings.

Notes: The house is in a community called Lord's Point and the Community Center has various activities such as bingo, yoga, sports night ,movie night, talent shows, basketball and tennis courts, soccer area etc. There is a sandy community beach a short walk from the house. A boat launch borders the property and can handle a 25 foot boat, at hight tide. kayaks and canoes can be put into the water from a rocky/sandy beach on the property. The House has a very secluded feel to it. Two sides are directly on the water and a privacy sceen to block veiws of the neighbor on the west side. You can veiw the water from every room.

Additional consideration: Mystic Seaport, Mystic Village, Mystic Aquarium , restaunants and shopping are all minutes away, Wildlife Management Areas, State Parks and public beaches are very close by. The Lord's point community has a community center with many activities and a sandy beach for it's residents to use. There is a boat launch which boarders the property and water access directly from the property.

Spend a weekend in May earlier this year at what has to be one of the best homes for rent in New England. The house is kept in immaculate condition and the views of Fisher Island and the Block Island Sound are incredible night and day.

I plan on inquiring for a longer stay if available next year.

We had a great time.
The kids spent hours checking out the tidepools.
Wonderful to sit on the deck and watch the sailboats go by.
Yard is perfect for frisbee & football.
Beautiful views and nice space.

ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFULL! THE HOUSE IS WELL KEPT AND HAS A WONDERFULL LAY OUT. THE AREA IS THE BEST!. PRIVACY YET CLOSE ENOUGH TO EVERYTHING. I DID NOT WANT TO LEAVE WOULD GO BACK YEAR AFTER YEAR. OWNER IS HELPFULL AND THOROUGH. NEIGHBORHOOD QUIET AND FRIENDLY. THIS PROPERTY IS A GEM!.

A wonderful house in a perfect setting! We spent an idyllic week here at the end of April and 12 Skipper St became the unofficial 'headquarters' for our wedding party. A more perfect venue for the happy gatherings of friends and family would be hard to imagine. We and all our visitors fell in love with this wonderful holiday home and enjoyed absolutely everything about it -- the accommodation, the lay-out, the views, the surrounding space, the jetty, the rocks and sea, the birds, the bikes, the friendly neighbours, the visitng cat, even the skunk -- I could go on and on. Absolute heaven!!

Our family enjoyed a long Thanksgiving weekend at this beautiful home in its awesome setting. The amazing views of Fishers Island and the Sound include wildlife, boats, and (of course) colorful sunrises and sunsets. It's the perfect place for a reunion and we hope to return sometime soon.
