Eden's temptation

Unlike Adam and Eve, coming to Eden, UT, will not be seen as a bad decision. Our biblical friends may have needed more than a fig leaf or two for this snowy mountain setting. You'll just need some ski gear and an eagerness to explore all that is around you. A smile is guaranteed. True, when you come here you become self-aware. But it's more about unlocking your true self and love for skiing or boarding. Eden has that effect on you.
Eden's location is so convenient in getting to both Powder Mountain and Snowbasin. If you have a car, you can bounce back and forth between the two mountains. If not, well just take the daily shuttle up to Powder. The snow was incredible the last two times I went - 70 inches in 7 days in 2007 and 62 inches in 5 days in 2008. I've never seen anything like it. Or if you are a beginner, there's a great little mountain at Wolf Creek. Whatever level you are, you'll ski your heart out. I'm already booked for 2009!
The house was a perfect spot to relax after our long days of skiing. It's so spacious and bright. We relaxed over a couple of cocktails in the open air kitchen and living room area as we cooked dinner. Then it was down to the entertainment center for movies, games and a quick dip in the hot tub. With Warren Miller movies in the background and a roaring fireplace, you know you've come to skier's heaven. There's so much room you could hold a yoga class (which comes in handy). Each of the rooms is decorated with a comfortable, rustic feel. The beds and sofas are plush and they swallow you up. The entire house fosters a fun but relaxing group feel.
The price was so right. Aside from a great deal for the house, you can get discount tickets to both mountains. Even the rentals were cheap. While this isn't a town with lots of nightly activities, you don't even care. You have everything you need at the house. Of course, if you venture out, I highly recommend the Shooting Star Saloon in nearby Huntsville. Best burger around.
This is the perfect place for those couples seeking a fun week off or the family of hard-core skiers. In Utah, it's all about the powder so make the most of it. Thanks for everything!
