This charming beach bungalow is located in the private community of Seacrest Beach which is situated between Rosemary Beach and Alys Beach. If you are looking for a comfortable place to get away and forget the hustle and bustle, this is the place to be. 'The Barefoot Bungalow' has three bedrooms (one king, one queen and two full beds) and two baths. You can walk to Rosemary Beach where you will find dining, shopping, spa, etc. You can also head the opposite direction and get to Alys Beach, where you will also find restaurants and relaxation. Seacrest Beach has one of the most gorgeous pools around. You will truly feel that you are at a resort. There is also a shuttle that will take you to the beach access, where you will experience some of the best beaches in the USA! There are bike/walking trails so that you can get in a bit of exercise, also you will find fishing, golf and other activities just a short drive away. Shoes are not required at the beach!

Located in the Panhandle of Florida, it is an easy drive from GA, AL, MS, LA, TN or fly into one of the two airports (Panama City or Okaloosa) and have about a 30 minute drive to Seacrest. The home is close to Seaside, which became famous partly because of the Truman Show. In Seaside, you will find many activities for children and adults. They have various events and shows throughout the year. Rosemary Beach also holds several events, such as screen on the green, wine festival, bocce ball tournament, etc. You can find out the schedules by visiting their websites.

Living/Dining Area: The living/dining area features beautiful wide-planked hardwood floors. The kitchen has granite countertops and is equipped with everything you will need. We have even included a large stock pot for your family seafood boil! The dining table will seat 6 with additional seating for 3 at the kitchen counter. A separate laundry/mud room includes a full size washer and dryer for your convenience.

Bedrooms/Bathrooms: The home has 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. One King, one Queen and two Full beds. Each bedroom has its own TV. Should you need to work while you are on vacation, wireless internet is provided for your use.

Surrounding Area: You can walk or bike to the Villages of South Walton, Rosemary Beach or Alys Beach where you will find shops, restaurants, spa, etc. Bike rentals are available nearby with 19 miles of bike and jogging trails along scenic Highway 30-A. Seaside is 8 miles west of the house, where you can enjoy lunch or shopping.

My two sisters, my 2 1/2 yr old son and my handicapped dog had a wonderful time at the bungalow. it was the perfect spot to relax, regroup and just hang out. The front porch was ideal for hanging out in the morn w/ coffee; the pool was amazing!; and the quaint streets were perfect for a bike ride. We loved the house and amenities - although would have loved a gas grill.

All in all, i would highly recommend this home and community. Beverly and Gary were more than accommodating and made the entire rental process easy. I'll definitely be back!!

Some girlfriends and I rented Beverly and Gary's charming Barefoot Bungalow for an extended Girls' Weekend. When we arrived, the house was even better than we expected! The location was great, the house had everything we needed and the property was fantastic. We spent more time at the huge (12,000 sf!!!) pool in Seacrest Beach than we did at the beach, but we thoroughly enjoyed our getaway. We would love to stay at the Barefoot Bungalow again and are considering making this an annual tradition - just don't tell our husbands! :)
