Welcome to Tiburon Landing, a romantic bay view home.
Lisa Marie Jarrell purchased this house in 1995
We love our charming home with spectacular bay views. We can enjoy watching the sailboats and huge ships passing by from our outdoor lounge, living room, dining room, kitchen and terraces. It's priceless.
VIEWS! VIEWS! VIEWS!
We want to thank you for a wonderful place to stay
during our trip to California. We loved sitting
outside in "the kasbah" after a long day in San
Francisco. The view was beautiful and the weather
was perfect. The decor was very nice and the
bathroom had a very zen, spa-like feel. The
pictures on the website are current and match what
to expect during your stay.
Lisa was wonderful during our stay and checked on
us several times.
We enjoyed our stay in Tiburon.
Though our stay at Tiburon Landing was brief (less than 10 hours) it was just what the doctor ordered after a long flight from the East Coast. Waking up with the beautiful view of Angel Island, the bay and San Francisco was wonderful. We cruised to SF and back on the ferry and would highly recommend it to all. While
there were four of us staying at the home we found it comfortable and inviting. We hope to get the chance to visit again and hopefully stay a bit longer. Thanks
for all your set up work on the front side of our stay and the followup after.
We loved Tiburon Landing. The layout was perfect for two people. A wall of windows with large doors opened onto the deck. The sunny, south facing , large deck had a covered living room area where we spent a lot of time admiring the view of angel island and the Bay. We slept great in the cave-dark bedroom with tempurpedic bed and soft linens. Location was perfect: a short walk along the water to down town and easy walks on neighborhood streets with spectacular views. We thought the upstairs neighbors were very quiet and very welcoming. We loved Tiburon and thought Tiburon Landing was the ideal way to experience it.
We were really looking forward to staying in a comfortable " private" "luxury" Bay View "Home" and when we arrived it started badly and was not at all what was expected. First we arrived at the house and figured out it was actually the basement apartment directly under another unit. The house had not been cleaned when the previous visitors left and the owners were on vacation, we called and the owner promptly called a cleaning service to come over and said something about wishin she could offer a bottle of wine for the inconvenience, but since she was 1000's of miles away it wasn't possible. (There was plenty of wine in the cupboards though, which we left untouched.)
The view is of Angel Island, the Bay and a part of San Francisco called Cow Hollow, so all you see are the streets going up and down the hills, no city skyline. We paid extra to stay over the 4th of July holiday and expected to see the fireworks since we paid a significant premium for those days. Even on a clear night you wouldn't be able to see the fireworks from this house because they are behind Angel Island.
We did enjoy a lovely day on Angel Island, a place with a rich and long history from pre-European explorers to the past century of military occupation. I'd highly recommend going over to Angel Island, hop on the ferry take a hike or enjoy one of the tour bus rides around the island and then relax on the deck with a snack and some live music.
On the evening of the 4th the condo unit upstairs had a little shindig, probably 15-20 people came by to enjoy some time together. Seemed like a really lively group hanging out on the upper deck, walking past our deck as they streamed up and down the upper units exterior stairs. Not a bit of privacy unless you were to stay indoors with the curtains closed.
The bathroom had one drawer available for guests, it was gross, filled with spilled makeup/powder and old "stuff" from previous guests(?), I don't know, but I did take some photos. Because the closets and dressers are full of the owners clothes they kindly offer that you can hang your clothes in the small closet behind the fireplace with the other junk they have stored in there (camping equipment, wine, some old games and other stuff).
The light in the bathroom was burned out.
Contact me and I can send "real" photos of the property.
Wow! What a wonderful find! Dave and I had our best vacation ever at Tiburon Landing! We were surprised to find such a lovely condo with a gorgeous view so closely located to San Francisco. Our goal was to find a place to stay close to Napa and San Francisco with a waterview. That's exactly what we found. We enjoyed our week very much and daily rushed back to the condo to enjoy the beautiful bay views. Lisa was very helpful in every detail of our stay! We loved the beautifully appointed deck but also the condo was lovely. The convenient location allowed us to take daily trips into San Francisco and also travel a few minutes north to Napa for wine tasting. Tiburon is a gorgeous little village that was fun exploring. We had great meals at Sam's Café and the Caprice on the water. Lisa thank you for sharing your home with us! We will definitely return again.
I have worked with Lisa and Steve
several times to reserve both of their
Tiburon homes for our clients to come
and stay for a couple of nights. Their
homes are amazing, beautiful and very
well kept. Lisa is phenomenal to work
with and she makes sure that you are
well taken care of. I would highly
recommend this home for any occasion,
but it really is a safe, great choice
for bringing in clients or business
Just spent Labor Day weekend at Lisa's Tiburon
house. Everything was as expected or better.
From living room and large deck that included nice
shaded sitting area we enjoyed great views of Bay,
San Francisco Marina & Pacific Heights and Angel
Island. Very quiet but close to downtown Tiburon or
Great value. Perfect size for adult couple. Lisa is
professional and organized. We definitely would stay
again in the future.
The ferry boats are a very short walk from our home, providing a short bay cruise to Sausalito, Fisherman’s Wharf, Alcatraz, and beyond. Located 30 miles from the San Francisco or Oakland airports. Our Landing is just six miles to Stinson Beach and other small coastal villages at the shores of the Pacific Ocean and the foot of Mt. Tamalpais. Stroll around Sausalito and browse around the art galleries, boutiques and restaurants along the famous and historic Tiburon Ark Row. Tiburon was a safe haven for sailors in centuries gone by. Tiburon Landing is also convenient to the lush 560-acre Muir Woods National Park renowned for the grandeur of its redwood forest. The Pacific seaboard architecture and exotic merchant trade of the San Francisco Bay inspire the décor and style at our Landing. French doors compliment full view exposure to islands, bay and San Francisco skyline, and a rich collection of art and fine crystal add to the elegance of Tiburon Landing.
