Towamensing Trails Vacation Rental house

Not what we expected at all. There was no A/C for the first and second floor (basement was cool but smelled), the screens were torn so if we had a door open or window we would be swamped with mosqitos. The basement smelled, the beds were uncomfortable, the comforters that they supplied were filthy. I have a 5 month old daughter who we were very concerned about b/c it was so hot inside the house.
All the rooms were pretty much clean expect for dead bugs all over the windows. The pool table did not work, no darts for the dart board, the tv was staticy, the grills were filthy and we were unable to remove the charcoal containers to clean.

If you are going with a group, don't bring kids and don't plan on staying there unless it's only to eat, sleep and leave in the cold seasons. The club house was very nice and we had a great time there. The lake and beach were very close as well. As far as food, stock up for the house. There is one restaurant there close and the others are 30 mins away driving.

Not recommended for a family trip, but a group of friends who are looking for somewhere to crash and drink. I would keep looking for other homes if you have kids. Also, little upset that we have to pay $100 cleaning fee when we got there and had to do some cleaning ourselves just so my daughter had a safe place to lay and crawl.

On a positive note, the scenary was amazing. We had 3 deer on the property every morning and night and some rabbits. It was great to see. The owners were friendly but very laxed on returning phone calls. Kitchen supplies were there and in good condition. Kitchen was spottless.
