Located on the banks of The Black River with water on two sides, this Echo Lake House is private and secluded. It is a short walk to the Echo Lake and the Tyson Village Store (less than 5 minutes). The house is located just off Rte 100 and the Tyson Rd.near the Echo Lake Inn and is one mile from the Plymouth State Park beach. It only takes a few minutes to get to downtown Ludlow. Okemo Mountain and Jackson Gore base lodges are five miles away and The Killington gondola is 12 miles away. The house isclose to snowmobile trails, but far enough so you don’t hear them. There is great fishing year round in the Black River and Echo Lake The house has 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, gas fireplaces, two person jet tub, A/C, garage, large well equipped kitchen, and dining area. Walk out lower level has laundry,2 bedrooms.game room w/pool table, satellite TV, fireplace and seating area. By the Black Rvr. there are chairs with fire pit. Deck dining. The large living room has gas FP, Sat. TV and seats 9

Winter heaven. Minutes to Killington and Okemo with 6 other areas close by. Charming Vermont towns with great restaurants and shopping as well are all around. You can ski, antique, visit the outlets, or do the art galleries. All in one day. The Echo Lake House is located five minutes from the Tyson Village Store, and the Echo Lake Inn and other restaurants. The house is located on a private road near the intersection of Route 100 and the Tyson Rd. It is only a five minute drive to Ludlow and twenty minutes to Rutland.

Foliage Season: Special Low Rate This Year For Famous Vermont Foliage Season. Considered by millions of tourists to be the greatest season in Vermont, foliage season in this area is approximately from late September to late October depending upon weather. Charming country roads and villages are at their best. Most small towns have special fairs, shows, etc.There are concerts, dances, special dining menus, etc. Hiking is great. Visit us and see.

Winter Season: There is nothing more beautiful than a snow covered landscape and a clear blue 'big sky'. The snow on the trees and along the river makes for a picture postcard scene. Views from the windows are extraordinary. Vermont keeps its roads totally clear . Recent winters have had lots of wonderful snow. Skating and cross country skiing are available nearby, often free. Snowmobiling On Vast Trails. Season Renters Leave Equipment In The Garage.

Late Spring And Early Summer: Our spring and early summer comes fast and furious. Rates are low and there are very few tourists. Attractions and restaurants are uncrowded. Hiking is great.

This is the second year we have rented this property. Our entire family spends a week together here; kids and grandkids.
It is a clean place and feels like home. The owners are very nice people and take care of any problems we might have.
It is near the mountains for hiking and the beach and boating at Plymouth State Park Near 3 or 4 lakes and many places to go.
I would recommend this property to anyine who wants to get away from the usual vacation crowds.
