Comfortable family home in Stowe, Vermont. Why rent a condo when you can have this entire restored farmhouse with special character, conveniently located just off the Mountain Road, near the village and recreation/bike path. Short drive to the ski slopes and touring trails. Not just a ski house. You will love it all year long. 3 bedrooms on the ground floor. The upstairs is a large open room with two twin beds, three kids beds and a play area. Gas fireplace in the living room with cable TV and DVD. Open sunny kitchen and family room with breakfast nook looking out to secluded woods and river. Washer and dryer. Sunny deck for the spring, summer and fall. Gazebo, volleyball, horseshoes, group swing. Cross country ski and snowshoe right from the house.

Stowe Vermont is the ski capital of the east. The resort has made many recent major improvements to ensure an outstanding skiing or snowboarding experience. Our area also offers excellent snowshoeing, cross country skiing, hiking, sleigh rides and ice skating in the winter. The rest of the year the hills, mountains and valleys are second to none for fall foliage, wildflowers, hiking, walking, mountain biking, fishing, birding, horseback riding, canoeing, and exploring nature any way that you desire. Ride the Alpine Slide or gondola at the ski resort. Swim at the Swimming Hole. Stowe's famous recreation path is 11 miles long and is a half mile from our farmhouse. Summer meadow concerts, hot air balloon festival and rides, antique car shows, craft shows, food festivals. And of course Stowe is famous for it's superb shopping and dining.

Terrain parks, halfpipes and glades are second to none. Cross Country skiers may explore 4 major touring centers: Mount Mansfield Ski Touring Center, Trapp Family Lodge resort, Top Notch resort or Edson Hill resort. Not to mention kilometers of fields and woods to explore for the off trail skiers.

Golf: Three world class golf courses. Stowe Country Club is 1 mile from from our house. New Spruce Peak At Stowe 198 hole mountain course. Country Club of Vermont is in neighboring Waterbury Center. Miniature golf for everyone. Stoweflake Resort golf school is 1 mile from the house.
