This bright, beautiful European-design Penthouse Condo will make Big Boulder Lake part of your living room. Even from the upstairs Jacuzzi, the lake is viewed from the windows that reach up to a cathedral ceiling. Privacy is built in with the angle of the building, which places you nearly “in” the lake. Unlike many other accommodations in the Pocono’s, this retreat is air-conditioned and has an updated kitchen with dishwasher and washer/dryer combo. There is plenty of room for the family.

Two bedrooms downstairs each have a full bath. One has two full beds, the other a king. The loft contains a sitting area with TV; two twin beds; and a bonus room with a queen-size bed; as well as a Jacuzzi room and full-bath. The kids can play games while waiting for dinner. Listen to your favorite CD in the living room while conversing with the cook, or watch TV. The gas grill on the deck will keep the mealtimes simple.

Step out onto the deck to feel nature and immerse yourself in it. Deer and ducks and chipmunks will entertain you, and sailboats and kayaks will add to your view. Throw a fishing line into the stocked lake. The heated pool for summertime use is viewable from your deck as well. In season enjoy the hot tub there while watching the picturesque lake and mountains. You will feel as though you have been transplanted. Also in summer, there are 2 beach areas and another pool and with a restaurant within a short walking distance. At this Lake Club, you can rent boats, sit on the beach, or fish.

Many restaurants as well as golf, miniature golf, bowling, a movie theater, paint-ball, Traxx Motorsports, and whitewater rafting , are only a hop, skip, and a jump away. Visit the weblink below to get information on attractions, shopping and the Festivals—Celtic, Blues, Wine, Arts and Crafts. Tthe Big Boulder ski slopes or tubing slopes are across the lake. The ski slopes can be viewed from the deck or parking lot. Jack Frost is another ski area minutes away.

The owners are incredibly helpful and friendly, and the place comes with ALL the amenities you could possibly want. It is on the top floor, so not recommended for persons with disabilities.

Else that, it's truly fantastic:
- a great view of the lake
- very clean
- a quiet location (we were there in the fall/off-season)
- great rates
- good nearby restaurants (reservations are good, even in the fall!)
- great owners

We did have to drive a ways to rent a boat. The nearby paintball is NOT for the amateur. The stores and shops do close early, and getting beer/wine/liquor proves tricky (separate stores, couldn't actually find liquor - PA people would be used to that, though, I'm sure).

There's no better accomodations in the Poconos

Me and my boyfirend, Super Dave spent a beautiful week at this wonderful place. We had more space than we knew what to do with. The view was fantastic and the place was right on Big Boulder and convenient to area restaurants and shopping. We even had fun making the beds together each morning. We can't wait to go back. The owner's were great - especially the lovely, Alice. This was a Great Pocono Home.

I had a chance to stay here in April with a world renowned musician.
This senior musician is greatly into Nature, arts and wanted a quiet time and peaceful time away from a hectic tour.

I luckily ran into this site and then loved this place that Thomas and his wife owns. We had a terrific time and I will cherish the moments we had at this place.

Thomas and his wife are very nice people and they understood our need very clearly and helped us in every possible way.
I recommend this place a AAAAAAAAA++++++++++++++
and I am going back there some day again ....

Just recently took a brief mid-week ski getaway and stayed in this condo. Very nice place. Very clean and well appointed. Great grill outside on the deck, gorgeous view and so close to Big Boulder. Good rate too! Everything in the home is as it was stated in the ad and the owner was quick to return our full security deposit because we left it so clean. Thank you for a nice visit!

Great get-away

This is our 3rd visit to The View and we just love it, everything is so convenient and pool and lake is all in walking distance, internet access is great since we can't all leave our work at home, but still relaxing and there are quite a few restaurants within a few miles if you don't want to cook. Rates are great and owners very accommodating.
