Port Clinton Vacation Rental house

My mother, 2 year son, husband and I spent a week here. There was a wonderful welcome basket waiting with coffee, wine and snacks. The house was so well stocked with tissues in every room, toilet paper, extra bath towels, laundry detergent, VCR tapes, books to read, child toys, beach chairs, beach towels and beach toys that it took only 5 minutes of being there to see how badly I had overpacked. The beach and pool/hottub were 2-5 minute walks and very nice. We loved having king beds and TVs in the bedrooms. We cooked most nights and were happy with the kitchen and grill. The owners are skilled in customer service and sent a nice thank you on our return. This is a great place to stay. Around the place, we went to Cedar Point, the drive through Safari (bring carrots and save some for the gentle giraffe and the end), the Train-o-rama (not recommended - a room of models), Put-in-Bay and some local restaurants (the Crowe's Nest has nice outdoor seating and good food, we were not impressed with Bootleggers - expensive for what you get, McCarthy's also had good food and beer of course). And if anyone ever hurts their back and needs a chiropractor, Dr Darr works miracles.
