Our family has rented this property many times and will return again in April. The property is well situated in La Quinta, and close to both the pool and the tennis courts in Mountain View. It is stocked with everything needed for a comfortable stay. This newer property has high ceilings and great light from many windows. The two master suites are private and separate from each other, and have lovely beds. The kitchen is nicely designed and has stainless appliances. A small qualifier for this rental is only that SOME cell phones can't pick up the service from their providers, but there is a house phone for local and US long distance calls (not to Canada, however). Great, private outdoor space with a small briquette barbecue completes it. It's a very good rental with a very good owner.
We've just returned home from two weeks in this condo. The property is quiet and comfortable, tucked into a little nook on the golf course that provides shelter from the breeze, and privacy. The view of the course and the water is beautiful and we spent many mornings on the patio with our coffee. The lighting in that area also made the evenings perfect for sitting out with wine! This condo is light and bright and has an excellent layout with two large master suites separate from one another. Beds and linens are very good; the kitchen has great appliances and is well stocked with everything a person needs. There are televisions in every room, wi-fi throughout, a phone for local calls, a double garage, and a key to the pool. The Clubhouse is a very short walk away and the neighbours are friendly. It's also only one block from Ralphs. We couldn't ask for more from a rental, nor from the owners who made our stay very easy. We will definitely be back!
We loved our visit to the Desert. The condo was great. Everything you needed for a perfect vacation, and the accommodations couldn't have been better. And what a beautiful view to wake up to every morning.
Mountain View Country Club looks like a wonderful course. Although we didn't get a chance to play, we did use the practice facilities and eat at the club.
There are many fun restaurants near by, and a grocery store a block away.

If you are looking for an escape from your day-to-day routine, this is the place to go. The condo is absolutely beautiful and the view is spectacular. This was my second stay and it was just as wonderful as the first time I rented in 2008. The process of renting was hassle-free and Barbara is so accomodating. You couldn't ask for a better owner. And what can I say about Bernice? She is the greatess! Thanks for a very refreshing vacation. I hope to stay again soon.
We were happy to have been Barbara's guests for our first ever visit to Palm Springs. Our last minute arrangements went smoothly (it was convenient to pay by credit card) and it was nice to be met by our host and given a little tour. The photos are entirely accurate, including the stunning mountain views! Very clean, with great beds and linens the condo is luxurious yet homey. The La Quinta complex provided easy access to restaurants and shopping - including Stein Mart & DSW :) Arnold Palmer's is old school in a good way and there's parking in the back if you don't want to deal with valet parking. My husband enjoyed the fitness center every day; there's a beautiful and uncrowded pool (unheated??) a few doors down as well as a community bbq (which we couldn't figure out how to use). We didn't golf, use the clubhouse or the clubhouse pool. We had a really fun and relaxing vacation and would stay here again and would recommend to others.
The condo was everything we expected in terms of location, layout and amenities and then some!
It even included the added incentive to enjoy a smooth martini on the wonderful patio with a view to die for.

The property was very well appointed with modern, colorful furniture and terribly comfortable. The beds were a dream and allowed for peaceful, comfortable naps in the afternoon and great night time sleeps.
Very clean and well maintained. Everything worked very well from the toaster to the awesome showers that were hard to leave, they were so inviting and refreshing.
The owners were beyond congenial...they we tremendous! The kind of folk you would want to rent from every time you vacationed away.
We had friends visit from Alberta in Canada, Vancouver and Cape Town and without exception, they were blown away by the total experience at the Wilson Beach House. I am sure that they will be in touch in the future to come and enjoy the experience themselves.
Grocery shopping is close by ( a block away) and incredible restaurants within in a few miles you can enjoy the legendry Arnold Palmer's, a down scale Chapellis with a wonderful ambience (and the odd sneak at the King himself when he is in town for the month of February). Sit at the bar and enjoy the staff.
Golf a few hundred feet from your front door on the Arnold Palmer Signature Course enjoy a golf experience second to none. Terrific pro-shop staff and a real golf experience. The practice facility will make your handicap drop for sure.
Before your round enjoy a massage or a good workout in the health club that would equal any you have ever been to.
After your round a great restaurant with service rivaled nowhere else will allow you to tally your score. The dining facility headed by a world class Chef, Brent (from Canada eh!).
But I ramble on. It is an experience that will keep you coming back to enjoy the place we called home for seven months and Barbara & Steve are truly the most incomparable hosts you could ever ask for.

Free use of 2 Mountain bikes for cycling the many trails in the area and in the gated community of Mountainview.
Other Activities: shop fabulous El Paseo Drive, the equivalent of Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills -- only 20 minutes away. World class Art galleries, zoo, 120 golf courses, bike trails, all within a few minutes.
Golf: Golf course is Arnold Palmer signature tract. You live on the 10th tee with gorgeous mountain and water views.
