Very Nice for the Price

Pros:
This rental is very nice, especially if you are on a budget and/or have a bigger family. The house was very spacious and quiet. Having the master bedroom on the first floor and the secondary two bedrooms on the second floor was nice. The house comes equipped with many toiletries for making you feel at home. Being able to cook, with all kitchenware provided, and do laundry, with all the soaps and necessities already provided, was a big convenience bonus. The owner was prompt to reply and address concerns, espeically concerning Palmetto Bug extermination. Dog-friendly was a plus for us. One hole of the golf course is literally right in the backyard, but there are some shrubs for privacy so it didn't bother us.
Cons:
The cement areas around the pool could use some power washing. The DVD player didn't work for us, even when we followed the directions, but there are some movies provided if you bring your own player. The walk to the beach was longer than expected (which woud've been a problem since we had a handicapped person with us), BUT there were two nice places we could drive to and park and walk that were closer (although, I'd imagine these places would be busy and full during peak season). However, if you are able to walk without problems, this rental is a great, out of the way location, for an affordable price.
Owner's Response: Since I do not live in Hilton Head, I depend on the feedback of my guests to let me know what needs fixing. The cement areas around the pool and the DVD player will be addressed. The beach is a five minute walk, if you are strolling it might take 7 minutes.
