Part of a unique development combining Cretan charm with European quality, Zeus III is a ground floor apartment situated at the top of a gently sloping site overlooking the pool and gardens. Accommodation comprises main bedroom with double bed and second bedroom with twin beds, fully tiled bathroom with shower, basin & WC. Open plan kitchen leading to living area 6mts x 7mts. Solar and electric water heating, under floor heating, air-conditioning with double glazing throughout and sun-blinds in the bedrooms , all keep you cool in summer and warm in winter. Built in wardrobes and kitchen units all complement the 75sq mt interior. Zeus is fully furnished and includes full size hob, oven, large fridge-freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, TV, DVD player and midi system. Also included is an ironing board, iron, hair-dryer and a safe. Outside there is tiled patio and small private garden. The pool includes shallower children’s area and the communal garden has a large BBQ for all to use.

Pigi Paradise is adjacent to the old village of Pigi. Approx 7km east of Rethymno and 2.5km from the sea it is situated on the road to Arkadiou Monastery. Rethymno is situated on the north coast of Crete approximately halfway between the towns of Heraklion and Chania where the airports are situated. Fully illustrated instructions to guide you to Pigi from Heraklion or Chania will be supplied. Recent road improvements mean that Pigi Paradise is very conveniently situated as a base from which to explore the island's many historical sites and beautiful beaches.

  • Summer lets include use of safe, all utilities and air conditioning in both bedrooms.
    10% discount for bookings of two weeks or more
    Request for a different changeover day will be considered.
    Winter November - April. Rent payable a month in advance. Exclusive of utilities, linen change and cleaning.
  • £200 deposit to cover accidental damage which is fully refundable on return subject to no breakages or excessive cleaning required.
    Winter lets £400 deposit to cover accidental damage and utilities.
  • 20% non refundable booking deposit. Balance due 6 weeks prior to letting date.
    Credit cards accepted. (Subject to 3% surcharge). Otherwise payment by cheque or Internet banking.

Notes: The apartment sleeps four people in two bedrooms, but there is a sofa bed in the lounge which can be used if two guests are unable to share a bedroom. Pigi Paradise is a privately owned development so there are no restaurants or shops on site and no lifeguard at the pool. In the adjacent village of Pigi there are two Tavernas, 'Meze Place' on the main road (which has an Internet cafe ) and another in the village square. There is also a butcher, a bakery and a couple of 'mini-markets' in the village. Turn left as you leave Pigi Paradise and the road takes you through sleepy villages up to the mountains. Many small family owned tavernas within a 15 min drive. Turn right and then left at Tsesmes will take you to taverna 'Fantastico' at the top of the mountain. The name says it all. Straight on at Tsesmes and Platanes and Rethymno await you. 'Vergines' in Platanes is always good. Or turn right at Platanes, find 'Taverna 11' , sit by the beach and watch the sun set. Fantastic !

Superb accommodation

This apartment lived up to everything in the description and more. We had a really wonderful, relaxing break at this small, peaceful complex. The picture doesn't really do the place justice. The pool was excellent: never crowded, always clean and illuminated at night so that we were able to swim from breakfast time into the late evening. The owners couldn't have been more helpful, especially since we booked at very short notice. We have already recommended this accommodation to friends.

Perfect Pigi

This apartment is all that it says it is, comfortable and well maintained, a peaceful idealic setting yet within easy reach by car of all that anyone can need, beaches for the sun worshippers, true Cretan villages, mountain views, historic sites, markets, shops, tavernas and bars, and for those that just want to relax, a lovely pool and communal area. If you want to explore by car, the whole of Crete is within no more than about 90 min drive in any direction. We'll be looking to return.
