A person can never be absolutely sure that what you're looking at it what you are getting when you rent on line for a vacation or short getaway. Absolutely no worries here. This little house is even better up close and personal than the photos make it seem. The owner is very accessible and hospitable, the location of the house is only minutes away from the airport, restaurants, shopping and theater or museums, yet you feel like you are in your own little quiet cocoon when you are there. This bungalow has every imaginable amenity and is beautifully decorated. It was hard to leave, some afternoons, for shopping or whatever when the pool was right out the back door. We would highly recommend this property and plan on staying there again.
We rented this house for our wedding and ceremony.....PERFECT... we arrived to this manicured yard and the house felt like a 5 star hotel. Very clean and nicely set up...we really did not want to leave at the end of our 8 days.

We stayed at Casa Tranquila from February 4 to March 12, 2015. We really had a great time at this classic home! Close to downtown and very comfortable. If we had any problems, either Dave or Mark would send someone immediately to fix them. The back yard is a really nice place to relax!
This was our second trip to Casita Tranquila. The place was clean and well maintained as we remembered. Kudos to Mark for making additional improvements anticipating what guests might need; we didn’t want to leave!
We stayed through July 30th this year; warm days, pleasant nights. After we arrived, we changed our original plans of doing day trips and decided just to relax and enjoy the comfort of this home. We spent our days swimming , BBQing, lounging and dining on the patio. By the way, we loved the new BBQ grill! When it was too warm outside, we took refuge inside and watched our favorite shows on the big screen TV in the comfort of air conditioning with our favorite drinks. Life couldn't be better. Thank you Casita Tranquila; thank you Mark!
Aug 2nd thru Aug 9th - our 5th year. Another relaxing summer stay at Casita Tranquila! Thanks to Mark and your team for all you do for us. We found Casita Tranquila about 5 years ago and wouldn't consider going back to any other Palm Springs area vacation rental home. The owner's attention to detail is spot on: heated pool, misting system, roll up indoor/outdoor bar and more. We love coming in the summer to the desert; restfully warm outside under the poolside patio, and comfortably cool on the inside. Mark has been the perfect host; whenever we have had a question or need, he has been very attentive and prompt. Look no further, this is your Palm Springs home away from home - Casita Tranquila!
My family stayed for 4 days at this house and we did have fun. Everything seems okay until nighttime. Around midnight, the AC would turn off automatically because it reached the ideal temp. Then, when it gets warm again, the AC would turn on but there’s no air blowing out of the vents. Temp inside the house reached 84 degrees. Good thing there were ceiling fans all over. Contacted the owner which responded right away to send a tech over in the morning. By 7:30am, and before the tech was there, it would be like nothing happened and will function normally. This was the case for ALL 3 nights! Never did find any fault in the system. The property manager never even offered any discount for the inconvenience. I would not recommend this property to anyone. Not even during the winter months. Because who know, maybe by then it will be heater that would go haywire. It’s a shame though, aside from the AC, everything was good. But during the summer months, you cannot have something like that happen to you.
