**Kaiholo Hale is a LEGAL vacation rental**. Check our latest review in the 2010 Fodor's Maui Guide! Located near Mama's Fish House and historic Paia town, Kaiholo Hale is within seconds from Kuau Bay beach and Ho'okipa Beach. This newer 2 story home has Spanish tile floors. It has 4 separate suites: three 1-bedroom suites and one 2-bedroom suite. Built in 2005. Each suite has one to two bathrooms, fully equipped modern kitchens and living rooms with large TV, DVD player and CD stereo. Four king size beds, one queen size bed with a brand new full size sleeper sofa in each living room. Each suite has a private lanai, outdoor furniture & BBQ. A/c units in each bedroom and living room & wireless high speed Internet access. Total sq footage: 3,200 sq ft! Perfect home for family reunions, small groups, wedding parties, surfers/windsurfers (lots of storage for boards). See our separate listing for our lovely Hibiscus Suite, up to 6 guests. Kaiholo Hale is located in Kuau, walking distance to Kuau Bay beach and Mama Fish House (#1 beach front restaurant on island). Kuau is located on Maui's North shore, a few minutes past the little town of Paia (1.1 mile away) next to world famous Ho'okipa Beach and Lanes. It is a perfect location for swimming, snorkeling, surfing, kite boarding, and windsurfing.

Guests' comments, January of 09: We rented the entire house for our family. Mom & Dad, 3 sons with 2 spouses, 5 grand kids + 2 family members, 14 total. We tend to congregate, eat... in the Orchid Suite. We love the place and feel we have created a life long memory for our family. We could not have found a better place to stay. Location, accommodation, Anne & David very helpful. We had a little rain, but wait 10mn, it will stop. It also made the Road to Hana ever more beautiful. Marily and Paul. E.

Guest's Comments, March of 08: The Kaiholo Hale was perfect for our family reunion of 13 people. The separate suites were much larger than we had expected and were well suited for our needs. It was great having laundry facilities and several bathrooms. It was a nice quiet area with a nice small beach close by. We had excellent customer service when we had problems with one of the bbqs and were assured that if any problems arose, to call right away and it would be attended to. I highly recommend this unit for either individual suite rental or renting the whole house for family get togethers.' Rated 5/5 by Audrey D, March of 08.

My girlfriend and I love to surf Hookipa and there is no better place than Kaiholo Hale. We've been coming to Maui for the past 15 years and have stayed at different places on the North Shore. Unfortunately, many of them were illegal and are now shut down. We feel so fortunate to have found this wonderfully secluded, legal home so close to our fav surf spot. The place is immaculate, quiet and the prices are extremely reasonable. Thanks David!!!!
