Great for kids since the water is warm and no waves or chlorine to bother the little ones. The sun comes up from behind the mountains and sparkles on the water each morning as you watch from your private bedroom balcony. For a virtual tour, visit our website. Prepare meals in the gourmet kitchen with: microwave, convection/regular wall oven, blender, toaster, KitchenAid stand mixer. And be part of the activities since the kitchen is part of the Great Room. Large screen TV, gas grill, games, DVDs, Cd's, puzzles, books Washer and dryer in the laundry room. Walk out basement. Golf: Golfers are welcomed at Red Tail Mountain Golf Resort up the road in Mountain City. Or, play the beautiful Elizabethan course just down the road about 25 minutes. There are about 6 other golf courses within 45 minutes from the Lake House. So, don't forget your clubs!

Pontoon Boat Rentals: Don't have a boat? Don't worry, Tom White at Fish Springs Marina will rent you a pontoon for your stay on the lake. And you can keep it at your dock for the duration of your stay. Or bring your own boat and launch it at Fish Springs Marina. Then drive around the point to the Lake House dock. Watauga Lake is a wonderful lake for all water sports: swimming, fishing, boating, jet skis, etc. And the lawn of the Lake House lawn runs right into the water. We provide water shoes, beach towels and there is a campfire right at the water' edge for enjoying s'mores!

Romantic Getaway: Just the two of you? Why not invite Kim Thomas to come and give you in-house massages? Relax in the steam shower or jetted tub followed by the massage. Guaranteed to put you into a dreamless sleep. Or if you have a group of friends, Kim will bring another therapist so you can enjoy couples massages.

My family and I were in town for a family reunion. We had a wonderful time at the lake house. It was so nice and tastefully decorated, not to mention extremely clean! It gave us a cozy, very comfortable feeling. Vikki, the owner, called the night we arrived to check and make sure we got in alright and was extremely nice. She even delivered some delicious, homemade chocolate chip cookies. She called again the night before we left to make sure our stay was enjoyable and was there anything we needed to tell her in order to make her guests more comfortable. NO! Everything was perfect! I highly recommend this lake house to anyone!
