This was our second year staying in the cabin, it is just as described, very clean, secluded, and very affordable! I would recommend this to anyone who just wants to get some peace and quiet and to do some fun shopping and sight seeing! The cabin is equipped with everything you need except groceries. Don't be fooled by the price this a great place to stay! Can't wait till next October!!

This is our second stay in this cabin and we are looking forward to a third. Don't let the low rental cost scare you away, Its a great, quiet, peaceful get-away. Everything you want to do is fairly close; hiking, rafting,etc... Spend a day walking in downtown Blue Ridge, there's plenty to see. The Cabin is always clean and has everything we need as far as cooking. The back porch is my favorite spot.

Getaway From The Rush

This cabin was absolutely the best getaway i have had. It is away from town about 20 minutes so do get your groceries before you come in. However, you do have a ma/pa store about a mile away to get the necessaries if needed. My kids played safely outside and loved the air hocket and games included in the cabin. We grilled on the porch and enjoyed the swing. Everyone around was so nice. My kids and i enjoyed the area and the hiking around. I would definitely recommend this cabin if you are looking for something cozy and a quiet family getaway.

Our first trip to Blue Ridge Mt.

hottie Valdosta, Ga
Review Submitted: October 28, 2008 Date of Stay: October 2008
This cabin was very clean and neat. Had almost everything you would need, even though we took alot of things with us, but that is just the way we are. I didn't understand the cleaning fee if I had to do every thing except clean the bathroom and sweep. I left it as clean as it was when we arrived there. It is alittle out of the way from every thing, I would stay there again, if it was for just getting away and not wanting to do anything or go any where, just a good place to unwind and relaxes. Stay a week. I would not take smaller children, not much room for them to play or move around inside. I would say more for adults of any age, The price was outstanding for what you got. I would stay here again. The owners were very nice people to talk to and e-mailed me right back with information I needed.
Owner's Response: Kindly note that the cleaning fee/service includes washing and changing bed linens and towels, disinfecting bathroom, sterlizing kitchen, cleaning appliances, mopping hardwood floors, vacuuming rugs, polishing furniture, dusting, sweeping porches, and so on. Guests are asked to remove trash from the premises, to wash and put away dishes, and to leave behind only last day's linens and towels.

Fun Stay

WFG vidalia, ga
Review Submitted: July 8, 2008 Date of Stay: July 2008
This was a sweet little cabin that met our needs well. It was clean and well maintained and had lots of information of things to do in the area. The train, hiking, tubing and waterfall hunting were our faves. I would suggest getting specifics on directions from some of the locals for waterfalls and the like because they were a little tricky to find but well worth it when we did. Be prepared to take your own trash to the recycling center in town. I did not realize we had to do this (although it was it the paperwork) until we were leaving and it was on a Sunday and the recycling center was closed. This made disposal difficult.
