Wonderful location for sightseeing the state of New Hampshire and nearby states. Don't ski but would be wonderful for that as well. Lots for everyone to do and see. Unit is well equipted and will accomidate many more than the 4 of us. The sofa beds leave some to be desired and did not explore the loft as we were 3 and 1/2 senior women so did not climb the ladder. Several stairs up and down but they are wide and not very steep. Lower level has nice sitting area, doubles as sleeping area, nice kitchenette area and pool table. Has bathroom with small shower as well as housing the washer & drier which is wonderful for the traveler and skiers as well. Has lots of dishes, pans etc to cook anything you could possibly want to cook. Basically unit is fully equiped including gas BBQ. Clean linen & towels provided and easy access to owner. Our first night we had little hot water but quick contact with owner revealed someone had turned off the breaker to the hot water heater and when turned back on had lots of very hot water the remainder of our stay. Owner was wonderful to work with, provided lots of information & directions about the area. Location is great, looking out you feel you are tucked away in the woods but you are really only a short distance from town and neighbors. We enjoyed our stay and would reccomend to anyone who can navigate stairways. Would be wonderful for families with kids even when weather is not great as there are many books & games to entertain the children. We had a wonderful time leaf peeping, taking photos, and hunting with camera for moose, that we never found. Lots of covered bridges within a couple of hours of the unit as well as beauitful fall color and many scenic locations for photos. This is not a luxury unit but neither is the price. We were looking for reasonable priced, clean accommodations that felt like living at home & found it. VERY enjoyable time.
