Nine blocks from main plaza, 4 blocks from beach. Four blocks to supermarket. The upstairs of the two bedroom condo has one bedroom with Mexican queen bed and private bath, and one bedroom with two twin beds and adjoining bath. Downstairs includes dining room, living room with sofa bed, and complete kitchen includes purified bottled water, full size refrigerator, stove and oven, microwave, toaster, blender, coffee maker, and all utensils. Every bedroom has its own balcony. WiFi, A/C, Cable TV/VCR, Daily maid service, Electronic safes, Free washer/dryer. Clean, quiet, safe. Phone for local calls.

Cozumel has well preserved Mayan ruins, diving, deep sea fishing, many excellent restaurants, and great shopping.

Additional information about rental rates

  • 10% discount for late bookings, multiple weeks and multiple units, except during holidays
  • Reservations require a 50% rent deposit for confirmation. The balance is due 30 days before check-in date. The rent deposit, less a $50 process fee, is refundable for cancellations withing 60 days of the check-in date. A house keeping gratuity of $30 for 7-night stay is charged in lieu of paying tips to maids while at Casa Martillo. There are no refunds of of rent or tax for cancellation for any reason within 60 days of check-in date. Cancellation and travel insurance is available through travel agencies.

Check-In, Check-Out and Security Deposit: Check-in time is 1:00 p.m. Check-out time is 11:00 a.m. Baggage may be stored in the secure laundry room after check-out. A $200 refundable security/breakage deposit may be required.

Keys and Security: Casa Martillo uses VingCard computerized door locks for all condos, the perimeter gates, and the laundry/dive storage room. Up to four cards are mailed to guest about 20 days before the check-in date, and after receipt final payment. There is a charge of $25 for replacement or additional cards during the rental period. Each condo has a programmable electronic safe for secure storage of passports, valuables, and cameras. A charge of $25 may be imposed if you forget the combination you programmed, and require assistance in opening the safe.

WiFi ,Telephone and Free Washer and Dryer: We have WiFi for internet connection with a laptop. There is a telephone for free local calls in the courtyard. Long distance calls may be made at the pay phone about 3 blocks from Casa Martillo. Free use of the on site washer and dryer between 4 p.m. and 10 p.m.

We rented a two bedroom unit for 10 days at Casa Martillo. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The condos are clean, comfortable and spacious. It's in a great neighborhood that is nice and quiet with very minimal traffic. The maids take very good care of you. Very nice pool - great for relaxing in the afternoon. For those of us who have trouble totally unplugging, wi-fi internet access allows you to leisurely surf the net while on vacation. We had no problems associated with our stay and would definitely stay there again. It's a great deal.

We have been going to Cozumel for 14 years and have stayed at many different places. We stayed at Casa Martillo for the first time this year and it is definitely the best. We will stay there as often as we can in the future.

Casa Martillo's accommodations were absolutely wonderful! We were there with a group of four couples. The courtyard, pool and condo were wonderfully maintained each and every day. The owner happened to be there when we were and he was very personable and cordial. We had an all around wonderful experience with our first visit to Cozumel and would recommend Casa Martillo to anyone wanting a great location at a very fair and reasonable rate.
