Aquarium/Water Fun:: A great way for kids to really discover more about the waters of Cancun is a visit to the Interactive Aquarium. In addition to numerous fish tanks filled with the marine life of the Mexican Caribbean, there is a petting area with three open tanks where kids of all ages can touch and feed nurse sharks, sting rays, starfish, sea urchins, crabs and sea cucumbers. A shark immersion tank appeals to the most daring of moms, dads and kids.

Entertainment:: Nightclubs & Discotheques such as Daddy O's, Coco Bongo, Hard Rock Cafe, Buffdog Cafe, Senior Frog's & Carlos an Charlie’s as well as many others are two blocks walking distance from your vacation residence at Punta Cancun. Local Mexican shopping markets and fine Restaurants are one to two blocks away.

Shopping:: The beautiful Plaza Caracol Shopping Mall is across the street, includes Starbuck's Coffee, Restaurants, Butcher shop with American beef, Pharmacy & excellent shops. We were very happy with this property. It's a fantastic location for nightlife and shopping as well as the beach location. The security guards at the front gate were so helpful and friendly. The property is situated on a beautiful stretch of beach and the waves were calmer than other areas we have stayed at in the past because of the "Island of Women" being located across from the beach. The rooms were spacious and everyone was able to have their own space (we were traveling with 3 children). There was a large flat screen t.v. with a dvd player for when our kids were too tired to swim any longer. If you or anyone travelling has disabilities be aware that there are several steps down to the pool and again to the beach, although this seems very typical for all of Cancun. It was easy to catch the bus or taxi. I would recommend walking a bit before hiring a taxi as the price was higher when they picked us up at the property gate and several dollars lower if we walked a block or so and then hailed the taxi. The property is very much a "high end" building and it was furnished with all the items we needed for the week (towels, kitchen items, dishwasher soap, trash bags). We went to the supermarket and purchased groceries and laundry detergent. The jets on the hot tub were not working while we were there and the lap pool was very cold but the infinity pool was warm and as beautiful as it appeared in the photos. We would recommend the condo without reservation.

Betty,
I just wanted to drop you a quick note and let you know that EVERYONE had a FABULOUS time in Cancun. We all loved the condo, the views were incredible. The weather was perfect.
We even had VIP status while we were there. Apparently, one of your neighbors, Jennifer, happens to be the wife of David Krouham, who is President and CEO of Grupo Anderson. They own Senor Frogs, Carlos and Charlies, Shrimp Bucket, etc. Jennifer invited us to a private party they were throwing by the pool area for a colleague of theirs. She introduced us to her husband, David, as well as Abe, the bodyshot manager at Senor Frog's. Abe learned that we were down in Cancun for my brother's bachelor party, so he invited us to come to Senor Frog's and hooked us up with VIP access. We had three reserved tables, security guards, cigars, the works. We had so much fun we went back the next night and had VIP access once again.
Everyone we met in Cancun was extremely friendly. Olga was a great resource, as we directed all our questions to her and she always had an answer for us.
The spa was awesome. $100 for a 2 hour massage. You'd NEVER find a massage that good for that cheap back here in the US. We ALL got massages. Some of us went multiple times.
Thanks for all your help. It made our trip that much more enjoyable.
The vacation couldn't have been any better.
Some of us are already talking about coming back again. We'll definitely be staying in your condo when we come back.
