Eden Vacation Rental condo

My friends and I just stayed at this condo for a week of skiing, and had a great time. The condo is spacious and very well appointed and was very clean. It was perfect for the 5 of us, but you could fit a few more. The owner was also great and easy to work with, and we will probably try to rent from her again. Ogden Valley is gorgeous, and in my opinion is much prettier than the Park City area (about an hour or so drive). The condo is conveniently located to the low key but excellent Powder Mountain and the swanky Snowbasin - we had great days at both ski areas, especially at Powder Mt. There is a convenient shuttle that you can take up to Powder from the condo area, but we drove everyday. If the weather is very snowy, then it would be good to take the shuttle. Eden is a very small town, but there are enough amenities that you don't have to drive into Ogden to do everything - there is a nice little grocery store, a ski rental place (which we thought was better than the place to rent in Ogden - unless you want telemark gear), a very good pizza place, and a couple of decent restaurants. It's not Park City with all the stuff, but the laid back atmosphere and the incredible views more than make up for that. I imagine this would also be a fun place in the summer. We all really enjoyed our stay, and will be back.

We stayed at 707 Moose Hollow from Feb 20 to Feb 26, 2009. The condo is clean, well kept and offers the necessary amenities for a comfortable ski vacation. It allowed sufficient personal space for 6 adults and 2 kids. I recommend this condo not only for the value of the property but also for the punctual hassle-free communication with the owners whom I was able to reach quickly at reasonable times via both phone and email.
I have no regrets for choosing this property for our vacation other than the fact that (1) the hot tub area closes at 10PM sharp which did not allow us to use it after night-time skiing, and (2) that the common pool is not in operation during the ski season. However, both (1) and (2) are beyond the owners’ control so I still will recommend this condo to my friends.
For those who look for a place to stay while skiing at Snowbasin or Powder Mountain and who value their time and money - look no further for a place to stay. And remember – no friends on powder day!
