The 'TreeHouse', a beautiful getaway for two, is located just off of Bearwallow Mountain Road near the town of Hendersonville, North Carolina. Recently constructed, the TreeHouse is a short, scenic drive to many Western N.C. wonders and attractions including; Chimney Rock, Apple Valley, Lake Lure, the Pisgah National Forest, Biltmore Mansion, and the city of Asheville to name a few. The altitude is approximately 2,900 feet above sea level, which makes for a little climb up, however not too daunting for the low landers! Situated among the tree tops, with a hot tub on a large deck and porch for sitting, one can hear the many birds calling and singing in the mornings. A fire pit for campfires compliments this quiet and secluded property. The TreeHouse will be a peaceful respite from the busy city lifestyle.

Me and my wife rented the tree house for a week and it was great. Secluded, quiet, and very peaceful. The home had everything we needed to make it a home away from home for a week. The bed was very comfortable. Sitting on the deck in the evenings and mornings was great. I don't think you could find a more quiet place to stay. Also, it's an quick drive to many of the local sites and attractions in the Asheville/Brevard/Hedersonville area. We hope to do it again!

The 'Tree House' is a perfect mountain retreat that is equally charming and secluded - yet very close to many places of interest (DuPont forest, Hendersonville, and much more). The cozy house was extraordinarily clean and provided all the necessities (and more) for a wonderful weekend getaway.

Richard was very professional, responsive, and a pleasure doing business with. The property was just as we expected and included many items that made our visit that much easier (hot tub, washer/dryer, cooking supplies, and even a downstairs/indoor storage that was perfect for our mountain bikes!).

Highly recommended rental experience. A+++

I booked this fantastic home in March of 2012. Sadly, due to circumstances outside of my control, I was forced to cancel my stay. Richard was accommodating and he refunded my deposit quickly. Although I didn't stay at this house, I would recommend working with Richard because of his professionalism and understanding.

We loved the Treehouse!

The Treehouse was an awesome getaway. Perfect size for two people, and in a perfect location- totally secluded, but also an easy drive to downtown Hendersonville, Chimney Rock, and Asheville (and those were just the places we had time to check out- lots more close by too!). The cottage was extremely clean, and tastefully decorated. The kitchen was amazingly well-stocked for a vacation rental, there was a good stereo system and lots of cable channels. The hot tub under the stars was magical. Richard, the owner, was a pleasure to deal with and even checked in during our stay to make sure that everything was as we expected. So much value for the price, we felt like it was a steal! In short, this place was everything we could have asked for and we're already making plans to return in the fall.

Tree House

We arrived in the evening on Christmas day and were pleasantly surprised at how easy the cabin was to find in the dark (If you do this often you will know how trying that can be). The cabin was perfect for a small family (with two dogs) it had everything we needed and was easy to keep clean. It was perfectly located for all the sites and scenery out there and would recommend it to anyone. Richard was a gracious host and we never felt that he wouldn't be right there if we needed him.
