House, 4 Bedrooms + Bunk Area, 5 Baths, (Sleeps 12)

Welcome to 'CREW REST STOP'.Private Home with private pool.This Key West style beach home is just 75 yards from the whitest sandy beaches on the Gulf of Mexico.Pool is totally fenced in and bigger than most pools on beach.Custom built with all the extras. Seats about 20 people around pool. Tiki bar with large dining table, lounge chairs, 16'by 26'pool. 7 lounge chairs.

Home has 3 levels: 1st Floor-Master bedroom with king bed, walk-in shower with Italian tile and double sinks.Walk-in closet here so we stuck in a twin bed here for extra bedding. Well-stocked kitchen with state-of-the-art stainless appliances, corian countertops, living room well appointed with coastal furniture, 4 seat dining room table plus 2 breakfast bar stools and hardwood floors throughout.There is also a table for eight around pool for larger groups. One full bath off of bedroom on first floor with large Terrazo tile.There is a 1/2 bath across from kitchen. Nice to have two bathrooms on first level. Laundry room also on this first floor with side entrance to pool.

2nd level has 2 master suites with king bed in one with sofa, chair & twin bed in large closet, and second bedroom has a queen plus a twin. Each bedroom has private bath and private balcony. Very private living quarters for each family. All bathrooms have double sinks which is good for multiple families. Third level has a wet bar with sink + 1/2 bath. There is two queen beds here .with armoire/tv. There is a TV in every bedroom, All bedrooms are very large w/ ceiling fans. Two tri-fold mattresses plus portable baby bed are available as well.Sleeps comfortably 12 people with two tri-fold beds in closet if you need more beds.

Beautiful view of ocean from this 3rd level. Patio/deck off of every bedroom for sitting and watching the sunsets and ocean. Please email first, if you would. I would like to answer any questions that you might have, so call the number listed below and ask for Jan. House is across the street from the ocean. My house is on Thomas Drive - not directly on the beach, but only 75yds from beach to front door. Only one step from car into house, very easy! We are also pet friendly! The house has a PRIVATE POOL/heated , accessible through side gate or lower level master bdrm and is totally fenced in for your pet. I will send you a contract after I get an email from you. Check calendar for availability before calling with the rates posted for your convenience. This is a comfortable home for a large family or split with two other couples. Pier Park is about 2 miles from house for shopping/dining. Favorite local restaurant is J Michaels - great hamburgers. You are also walking distance to Schooners resturant/Last local beach club. About The Owner

Hi, my name is Jan and I bought my beach home in 2005. I am still working in Washington DC. I try to get to Panama City Beach as much as possible but not nearly enough.I travel most of the time.I know what people want when they go on vacation and I try to furnish it in my home.I am about 75 yards to the most beautiful beaches in the world. Its nice going to the beach, but also nice to come home to a beautiful space with your own private pool.My home has many more nice things than most rental homes. Enjoy my lovely home. My realtor friend describes my house as a house you would want to live in and not just for vacation. It's very homey with all the extras of a real home.

Why The Owner chose Lower Grand Lagoon

I bought in Panama City Beach because I think there is an abundance of things to do with a family here and the beaches are some of the whitest beaches in the world. There are many restaurants close to my house - J Michaels is my favorite and many locals go here. Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville at Pier Park and Andy's Flour Power for breakfast are two other good ones. Excellent golfing here and many great fishing tournaments. I love being able to walk across the street and be on the beach. I still have an ocean view from the 3nd floor but nothing like walking in the sand.You are right across the street from the beach. I also like biking thru St. Andrews park which is right down the street. Here you can put your boat in and boat over to Shell Island.

What makes this house unique

It's nice having your own private pool when you come in from the beach. I have a shower on the front porch and one in the back by the pool. I have many beach lounge chairs around the pool. There are 5 bathrooms in this house, two being on the first floor. This is really nice when coming in from the beach, too. The house is an open floor plan , kitchen , dining and living room is one big room. The bedrooms all have their own patio off of it. This is nice in the morning when you want to have coffee in the quiet times. All the bedrooms have a bathroom in it with double sinks. This is nice for saving your marriage. Ha! Ha! Enjoy my lovely home.

Location is perfect-you can walk to about 5 resturants from this house-Schooners is right across the street which is truly the Last local beach club. Its really fun for families.

Always a great stay and easy to rent!!!!

Just finished my third stay at Jan's CREW REST STOP and I can't stop saying great things about my stay. From the time I get a copy of the contract until I stay and get my deposit back, it is a pleasure working with Jan. And I can not forget the wonderful house and the great views. I live in Chicago and it is great to enjoy the beach and sand or the private pool and the weather. Keep up the great work Jan I will be back next year as well. I have been telling all my friends about the great stay!!!

Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful beach home with us!! We loved it and everything was so convenient and close to everything!!! The beach was awesome and just a few steps away. The heated pool was perfect! There were plenty of beds and bathrooms for our large family. The kitchen had everything you need. The house is so cozy. We had a great time and you are the greatest to work with.

i just wanted to write this review..which i rarely do, because i was so impressed with the house and the amenities! first of all the pictures do not do this house justice. the rooms were large and the beds were so very comfortable. the house was cleaner then most high end hotels. it was very well appointed and the linens and towels were like those at home! the owner has the place decorated better than most homes. it was also very nice that all 4 of us couple felt as if we had an escape to ourselves for afternoon napping, reading, watching tv...etc. it was a delight to see that all four bedrooms had their own private balcony with furniture for morning coffee! the pool is a salt pool which is so nice for the skin and after a day at the beach was so relaxing. we had rain most of our stay but enjoyed the house so much we were not overly disappointed! the location is the best and it's across the street from the best restaurant in panama city beach..schooners. it is on a four lane road but crossing is very easy as the road is not too busy. the location is at a quieter part of pcb...and close to the state park and shell island! we will definitely be going back and i have already been recommending this property to others!

We were very impressed with the house. I loved the keyless door system. We never had to worry about keys, and checking in was so easy! The furnishing were very nice. We loved having wirless internet and cable as well. All of the rooms were nicely appointed. All of the beds were comfortable and I loved how close we were to the beach. Crossing the street was a breeze and the beach was wonderful. The only downside was the heated pool. It was to be heated and did not stay heated for the duration of the stay. Otherwise, it was a great place to stay that was away from the rowdy beach down the way. Will definately use again!

Owner's Response: Thanks for the positive response. The pool heater is a new addition to the house and I found out that the heater only heats the water when the pump is running. The pump runs about 8 hours a day so we will run the pump more now to compensate. This is definately the best end of the beach and we can walk to our favorite resturant,Schooners.
