Delray Beach has immense charm. Wandering along Atlantic Avenue with its stately palm trees, you’ll find a great variety of interesting shops and many fine restaurants – from English pubs to gourmet dining. Weekends frequently feature Arts and Craft shows. Tahiti Cove is very convenient to all that Delray Beach has to offer – museums, lovely parks, and sight-seeing cruises. Renting a bike is a great way to explore the town. The beach is beautiful and only a 4 minute stroll away. Surfing, sailing or kiting equipment may be rented. There are golf courses and tennis courts nearby and deep sea fishing charters are available. The apartment is pretty, airy and comfortable. The heated swimming pool is just a few steps away. Also located conveniently on site are laundry facilities and an ice machine. Sit on the patio and watch the boats go by on the intracoastal. It’s a lovely place to read, lunch or watch the spectacular sunsets. Everyone who stays here falls in love with Tahiti Cove.

This property underscores the old real estate law, "Location, Location, Location". Just two blocks to the beach and three blocks to Atlantic Avenue allow you leave the car in it's assigned space. The unit is a corner location which makes for a very private setting. Wonderful view across the pool and intracoastal. A real plus is the property manager, Jose, who is a font of local knowledge and more than helpful to ensure that your stay is comfortable. Pool is heated and the entire property very well maintained by the Tahiti Cove owners. Tahiti Cove in general has higher rental rates due to it's location and wonderful view. There are near beach rental units at half the price.

Downside is that this unit is one of the few in Tahiti Cove on rental yet to be renovated. The TV, while a flat sceen, is too small for a long term stay, the bed linen's were polyester versus cotton, linens need to be replaced, the bathroom vanity is rotting away and the kitchen is very poorly equiped for a long term stay. Or perhaps we couldn't find extra pots and pans under the sink which looked as if the cleaning staff simply threw items in rather than arranging. Re-arranging the kitchen is not something you should have to do on your vacation. As rental property owners ourselves in SC, we know of what we speak. We had the opportunity to tour other rental units and would recommend them over this one. Most sport updated windows, new kitchens, wall mounted TV's and fully stocked kitchens, ie, more than one frying pan etc. Range is adequate and fridge is fine. Old large microwave and outdated toaster oven take up valuable counter space in the very small kitchen.Dishwashers have been installed in the other rental units so prepare to hand wash on your vacation.

Otherwise, very clean and tidy when we arrived and personally greeted by Jose. Very friendy guests who have returned as repeat customers, but we several who had changed to other units after staying in this one. We will too.

This property is charming. The views of the intercostal waterway are wonderful and it is an easy stroll to both the beach and to the restaurants and shops along Atlantic Ave. The unit is well maintained and very comfortable with all the amenities I needed or wanted. The pool is mere steps away. I enjoyed sitting on the patio watching the sunset. This is a quiet location that is ideally located. I can't wait to return!
