NAMASTE - LUXURY WATERFRONT HOME ON LAKE SUPERIOR

The location of this property was accurate. It is half way between Tofte and Grand Marais. The photos of the inside of the house were accurate. I would not describe it as a luxury home, but it has 5 bedrooms and would be good for large families or couples to share. I was very disappointed in the cleanliness of the home. It was very dusty and when the furnace was on, it was difficult to breath. The kitchen appliances did not include directions and some of the items had been used and not cleaned well and replaced in the cabinets. We called the owner to express our concerns, and he was not interested in listening or offering any kind of help or solutions to resolve them. We left 4 days early. I would not recommend this to a friend or family unless some of the issues were resolved. It would be better in the summer, as the windows could be open. If you like to ski, it is 7 miles from Lutsen mountain. There is a book in the house that provides many options of things to do in the area.

We had 5 couples up for a ski weekend in Lutsen. We found this place as it was large enough for us all and reasonably priced. We loved it! There was a fire in the fireplace all weekend (thanks for the wood), many walks down by the lake, and lots of fun playing games and cards. The waves could be inside the house and we came away feeling intensely relaxed. We even had deer buddies every day. Well stocked kitchen was great too. Thanks for a great long weekend.

Just returned from a long weekend at Namaste. The name befits this welcoming place. There was plenty of room for our growing family and we enjoyed coffee on the deck, walks on the beach, and a fire each night. Thank you for sharing your home. We hope to be back next year.
