Nineteenth century Belle epoque elegance and charm, designed and elegantly renovated by an expert in historic preservation, that includes: - Louis XVIth style carved plaster molding - Original patterned oak floors - Louis Philippe furnishings and Antique french art prints - French windows overlooking vine covered inner courtyard. This apartment has been totally renovated, with every effort made to maximize comfort and charm. The apartment is on the second floor (two short flights up, and no elevator, sorry). There is a large living area perfect for entertaining, with dining room table, sofa, chairs, armoire and office/desk niche, separate galley kitchen with all modern amenities, and large separate bedroom with double glazed windows. The bathroom is marble, with heated floors, full tub and shower, and the water closet is a separate room with its own crystal chandelier! So, why do I love this apartment? It is really, really beautifully done, filled with interesting architectural features (amazing moldings) and marble fireplaces. It is very comfortable, and immaculately maintained. It is large enough to entertain guests, and provide privacy to each guest staying in the apartment. It is perfectly situated to enjoy Paris and a real Parisian neighborhood.

We've experienced Paris in a whole new way staying in this gorgeous apartment! It was, in all honesty, absolutley perfect. So comfortable, quiet and elegant we couldn't wait to come back to it every evening. We also loved the neighborhood, which is overflowing with amazing shops and friendly people. Don't miss the restaurant across the street La tete Ailleurs for great food and atmosphere.
We miss Paris already and look forward to staying in this fabulous apartment again soon.

What a fantastic place to stay. The apartment was first class, very clean and had everything we needed to make our stay perfect. I love the heated bathroom floor. Also, the location was great as well. Short walk to Notre Dame and the heart of the city. We walked everywhere. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I hightly recommend this facility for your next stay in Paris.

We just returned from a wonderful trip to Paris. We stayed at Jim Braude’s one-bedroom apartment at Rue de Beautrellis in the Marais district. It truly felt like we were at “our home in Paris” as it is advertised. The apartment is elegant, tastefully decorated, beautiful antiques, a well equipped kitchen, and it was spacious enough for three people. It was so much better than a hotel. We loved it! The location was also great. In the neighborhood we found restaurants, a big grocery store, several wonderful bakeries, chocolate stores and lots of boutique shops. We were also able to walk to two Metro stations, which made it very convenient to get everywhere. Booking the apartment was extremely easy and efficient. Jim took care of everything! He immediately sent us the confirmation, information about the apartment, instructions on all the equipment, the neighborhood, recommendations on restaurants, and transportation. All of our possible questions were answered in the detailed information he sent us. The hotel transportation service was very efficient, helpful and friendly. We highly recommend “Our Home in Paris” properties! Cannot wait to go back.

Best place to stay in Paris

This property is even better than the photos. Except for minor things, it is perfect for a week in Paris. The location is excellent, with restaurants, museums and interesting neighborhoods within blocks. It has every convenience and is quiet and comfortable. The most impressive things, however, are the space and decor of the place--really more like a five star suite than an apartment. We would never stay anyplace else when we are in Paris.

Since we usually stay at very nice hotels when traveling, renting 17 Rue de Beautrellis was our first experience with renting an apartment. This choice was a perfect one. It is a beautiful, well appointed accommodation in a wonderful location. Were two/three blocks from two different metro locations, and close to many restaurants, cafes, patisseries, etc. Being in Le Marais district made us feel as if we were part of the Paris experience. We found the apartment to be an excellent choice and we would love to return!
