This serene setting is located on 3 quiet/wooded acres, 5 minutes from the center of Woodstock, in the 'Heart of the Catskill Mountains'. A great spot for Weekend Getaways, Extended Holidays, and Summer Vacations. This fully-equipped home (washer-dryer, dishwasher, etc) is good for families w/young children (there's a play area w/swings, slide, sandbox,etc & room to run around) or couples seeking a a romantic interlude. A special feature is an authentic wood-fired Finnish Sauna cabin w/a natural springfed 'plungepond' just outside the door (for the true enthusiast!) providing a great way to soothe sore/tired muscles after a day on the ski slopes or to calm the weary spirit after a long week at home or in the office. The area features attractions such as skiing, hiking, cycling, horseback riding, swimming, shopping, antiquing, as well as great restaurants, theater, live music and art galleries. In other words, there's something for everybody in Woodstock /The Colony of the Arts!

This house was the perfect place for a family vacation. Close to the center of Woodstock, but secluded and private. The sauna was amazing, and the house was perfectly equipped and comfortable. The owner was friendly and informative about the area, and he really made sure the place was ready for us to enjoy to the fullest extent. We will cherish the memories made in this wonderful home!
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

Perfect for our family

My wife and 3 kids (8, 6 and 2) and I had a great time at this house. It was the perfect size for us with all the amenities we look for: washing machine, Internet, cable TV, a yard, reasonably close to town, more than 1 bathroom. We've stayed at 3 different properties in the Woodstock area and this was the best one. We'd definitely stay here again.
