Elegant, new, 4 bedroom colonial on 1.1 wooded acres of property on quiet hill-side cul-de-sac in the Masthope Mountain Community. Large rear deck faces forested property, and is ideal for barbecuing, exploring or relaxing. Swim, fish, boat in private lake or Ski Big Bear Mountain. Ski Big Bear has 18 trails, 3 lifts, additional tubing trails, and the latest in snow making equipment. Spacious home includes 'triple play': telephone, Internet, and 300 plus cable channels. Game room with 5 free play stand-up arcade style video games, 5 TVs, 5 DVDs, stereo/CD, washer & dryer. Fully equipped modern kitchen includes a breakfast nook. Also, dining room and fireplace room. Families preferred. All guests must be declared. Minimum rental of 1 week during July and August. Rental period from Saturday to Saturday unless otherwise agreed upon. Limits on the amount of unrelated persons under the age of 25 per rental.

Masthope Mountain Community is an all season facility located in the heart of the northeastern Pocono Mountains. Ski our own ''Big Bear Mountain'' with 18 trails, 5 ski lifts (20% off lift tickets for my renters)! Snowboard or tube the trails. Swim, fish, boat, or water-ski at Masthope's 250 acre lake. Visit our own equestrian stables for lessons or ride the trails. Raft, tube or fish the nearby Delaware River. Swim our Olympic sized pool, water slide or the kiddie pool. Enjoy the basketball, tennis, & handball courts. Our Lodge includes first class restaurant and separate ''sports bar'. Lodge activities include a video arcade room, ping-pong and pool tables. Go antiquing at nearby Milford or Hawley. Enjoy the water activities at nearby Lake Wallenpaupack. Our home features a beautiful fireplace, jetted tub in the master suite, a large rear deck overlooking 1.1 acres of forested property, and our own ''free play'' video arcade game room. Free 'Triple Play'' phone, Internet & cable TV.

  • 2008 / 2009 Rates Summer - $1100/week - Winter (Ski Season) $1100/week, $750/weekend, $150 additional night. Spring / Fall $800/week, $550/weekend, $125 additional night.
  • Refundable security deposit: $500. Cleaning fee: $90. Amenity passes for up to and including 8 guests-$50/week. Pick up at Administrative Office when registering. All guests must register. Additional passes-$5/day-$25/week. First 8 amenity passes are provided for full week rentals only. No amenity passes provided for weekend rentals, discounted full week rentals, 'off season' rentals and any full week rental falling on the following holidays or times, Christmas, New Years, M.L.K., winter recess, July 4th and Labor Day. Winter rates apply when Ski Big Bear Mtn. is open. Summer rates: last week of June - Labor Day. Holiday rates - $1100/wk-$750/weeknd-$150/night. * Three day holiday weekends - $900, include but not limited to MLK, Labor Day, Presidents Week. *Christmas & New Year's week/weeknd rates - $1500/week-$1200/weeknd-$300/night.

Game room includes 5 large stand up 'arcade style' video games set on 'free play'. Cable TV, DVD and VCR in all rooms. Free wireless Internet access throughout the house. You'll need to supply the laptop. Land line telephone access in house. All operator assisted or other chargeable calls will be deducted from security deposit. Our 4 bedroom home includes 1 king size bed, 1 queen bed, and 4 single beds and 3 auto-inflating air mattresses (1 queen, 2 singles). You must provide your own sheets, blankets, pillows and towels. Large 'U' shaped living room sofa comfortably sleeps 2 people as does three seat reclining leather sofa in fireplace room.

Loved this house -- rented there the past two winters and will return this year as well. House is beautiful and immaculate. Ski all day and relax in this comfy house at night. Ski slopes nearby -- just perfect and not crowded. A winter wonderland as you sit in the dining room looking out into the woods and watch the deer play in the snow. Would love to check out the spring and summer here as well.

The house was very clean and spacious. It was a great which was very relaxing after a long day of skiing!location and easy to get to the lodge. The children had fun in the game room. The den had a large t.v. and couch which was very relaxing after a long day of skiing. We had a great time!!
