Your ‘home away from home’ is beautifully appointed and decorated with attention to detail and everything you will need or want for a memorable and magical vacation experience. Enjoy the well-equipped, bright and airy, Chef’s Kitchen with skylight, marble counters, walk-in pantry, gas range, and double ovens, for preparing ‘the roast beast for your feast’! You can dine ‘al Fresco’ on the decks, or ‘sip and sup’ in the formal Dining Room with fireplace (wood provided), and sliding and French doors, one at each end, opening to the outdoor decks and the splendor of nature!
With an open flowing floor plan, the Gourmet's Kitchen also ‘transitions’ to the Family Room with sleeper sofa, and the separate Media Room provides a large HD TV and sound system with speakers both indoors and out, so 'the hills are alive with the sound of music', if you wish it so! The Master Bedroom Suite (queen bed) has a lovely ensuite tiled bath with shower, and French doors opening to the front patio overlooking the pool, with spectacular views of the Mayacamas Mountains and the scenic valley below.
European linens, down bedding, and comfy beds throughout, in the quiet serenity of nature, allow you to ‘sleep like a baby’ and awaken refreshed and ready for a brand new day, full of relaxation, fun, and with many opportunities for magical adventures, nearby! The two Guest Bedrooms (full beds) share a hallway bathroom with vaulted ceilings, skylight, and a tub/shower combo. Providing the forth bedroom (queen bed), the tranquil and private, ‘stand-alone’ Guest Studio, just next to the house, has cathedral ceilings, skylights, and it’s own lovely bathroom with vintage clawfoot tub and shower. Day passes to the Parkpoint Health and Swim Club are available for $15/day for adults, $10/day for children 10-16, and $6/day for children 9 and under. This premier club has it all, with heated lap, aqua exercise, and children’s pool; weight and exercise machines; exercise, yoga, and pilates classes; all styles of massage; snack bar; etc.
Golf:
For golfers, Healdsburg’s Tayman Park is a very nice public 9 hole, par 35 golf course and driving range; Windsor’s Rooster Run (only 10 minutes away) is a beautiful 7000 yard champion golf course and also available to the public. For a unique golfing experience ‘in the Redwoods’, Northwood Golf Club in Monte Rio (about ½ hour away) is a public 9 hole par 36 course. Many more excellent courses are available within a short drive.
