Stunning ocean and volcano views distinguish this corner unit in the seaside village of Maalaea. The central location of Maalaea makes it the perfect spot to spend a vacation on Maui. Both living room and bedroom face the water with 25 feet of windows spanning both rooms. 107 Milowai is also 25% larger than the typical one bedroom due to its unique floor plan. This non-smoking condo has an elevated first floor location that is six feet above ground level from the living room and 10 feet above ground level from the bedroom windows - providing very close proximity to the ocean (literally 40 feet) with considerable privacy and panoramic ocean views.

The spectacular marine vista greets guests from both living room and bedroom; the warm, tropical colors of the condo complement the ocean setting. Breakfast on the lanai is a special treat as you watch the bay come alive with surfers, sail boats, snorkelers, and the occasional whale. Snorkel in your own backyard or stroll to a beach eight minutes down Hauoli Road. Grill fresh island fish at the barbecue while watching the Maui sunset.

2 HD TV's 50' in livingroom and 32' in bedroom with all HD programming and HBO. Record HD movies and shows in livingroom. Access your netflix account for download and the interenet with the smart TV in the livingroom. Use your ipod or MP3 player to play music on the Sony music station.

Our condo is professionally managed by Bello Realty, Inc., providing thorough cleanings and excellent customer service for the past 30 years.

Please note that we only accept payment by credit card. We not accept eCheck payments. Unlike many condo, owners we do not add the cleaning and management fees ($165) to the reservation price; we included these costs for all bookings of 7 nights or more. However, if you make a reservation of less than 7 nights, you will pay a pro-rated portion of the cleaning and management fees in addition to the nightly rate. Thank you.

This condo has improvements done regularly. In July of 2014, the 3 ceiling fans were replaced, the lanai chaise lounge was painted and re-strung, the lanai chairs were re-slung with a new semi-sheer fabric. The livingroom couch and chairs were re-upholstered with new fabric. A new microwave was installed above the stove and new lights were added above the kitchen sink. The lanai windows and sliding door were replaced in August, and a ceiling fan will be added to the lanai in the next few months. We continue to make important improvements for our guests' enjoyment. We also stay at this condo regularly, so we have a vested interest in keeping our vacation home in good working order. We have created a home that we enjoy immensely. Aloha!

About Frank Russo

In Nov. 1992 Brian made a down payment on our Maui condo with a convenience check from our credit card company. I could have killed him! 19 years later it has turned out to be a wonderful place that has given us so much pleasure throughout the years. We are amazed at how every time we arrive the stress of big city life evaporates with the first soft and fragrant, tropical breeze. The view we experience from our condo is un-matched anywhere on the island; we call it our 'forever view'.

The location is so close to the ocean that you feel like you're on a yacht. And the view of the volcano and the bay is so beautiful that many guests just stay put and enjoy the view!

What makes this condo unique

You can hear and see the ocean from everywhere in the condo. The condo floor plan is very open with a 25-foot panoramic view through windows that stretch from the bedroom to the livingroom. Most one bedrooms feel like narrow caves with a view at the end. With 107 Milowai, you have your bedroom right on the water...where it should be! I built a partition for the bedroom with a large opening and shutters so that you can separate the bedroom from the livingroom if needed while leaving the shutters open during the day for that beautiful panoramic view.

We had a fantastic time; enjoyed every minute we spent there. Did a lot of local snorkling and beaching (as much as you can do with a 5 mth old) as well as morning yoga on the grass. You have invested in a beautiful property on a heavenly island and we look forward to visiting again in the future.



Just a little note that perhaps could be of some benefit to your future guests which we found could have helped us in our pre-visit grocery shopping. There are alot of the same condiments in the fridge and cupboards that were obviously purchased by previous guests unknowingly (ie: 3 containers of mayo, 2 containers of mustard, 2 sets of salt and pepper etc.). Aside from eliminating waste, hopefully this will help out guests in the future.

Milowai Paradise

Aloha Frank,

Well, our two weeks here will soon be coming to a close and I must tell you how absolutely perfect your beautiful condo was for us.

I had wanted a quiet place to stay with a view and after looking at what seemed like a thousand condos for rent I was fortunate enough to find yours.

The amazing view, the sound of the surf to lull us to sleep every night......I simply cannot say enough!! Mahalo, mahalo, mahalo!

The condo was very well-equipped and clean and the immaculate grounds were an absolute delight. Being centrally located , we were easily able to enjoy the whole island on day trips. My helicopter tour of the island was awe-inspiring as were Haleakala and Hana.

I hope to return next year and have already recommended your condo to friends.

Fabulous Month

Aloha, We were so lucky to have found your home and what a joy making it our home for a month. It is a perfect location to go anywhere on the island which we did quite often. What a wonderful surprise to watch the turtles and whales while sitting on the lanai, that we did every day. Your condo had everything that anyone would ever need while visiting. It had been several years since we were on Maui and the information you emailed to us before our trip was perfect. Thank you for opening up your home and sharing this wonderful condo with us. We loved the "Beach Bums" as it was just a walk away and we could enjoy our drinks and some good food. We went to Lahaina and Kiehi often as well as the Pacific Whale Foundation for many cruises. This was a trip we won't forget and have some wonderful pictures to share. We loved everything! Mahalo!!

Owner's Response: Aloha Rich & Jean: We have been renting 107 Milowai since 1993 and over the years have made many improvements. We also have an excellent cleaning crew, window washer, handyman and management company. All these components make for a wonderful experience; not much is left to chance. And if there is an issue, we can get someone out there to fix it very quickly. We stay at this condo approximately 8 weeks per year; it is our home away from home. We are constantly taking care of it and doing the types of tasks that owners would do for their own property. We want our guests to have a quality stay, and of course the condo has a wonderful location both on the Island of Maui and in the condo building itself. We are close to all major activities and the building is right next to the water, yet it is still private and relatively quiet. We encourage our guests to return and give bigger discounts to regularly returning guests. This condo has also been very successful because of its incredible 120-degree panoramic view of Maalaea Bay and Haleakala volcano, clearly visible from both the bedroom and living room. Guests find themselves having a wonderful experience because of the of the condo's location and view coupled with a very well maintained and equipped condo. The combination is unbeatable! Perfect Spot

The only word that should be used to describe 2888 is "Perfect". Perfect location, perfect condo, perfect weather, perfect scenery. This unit has everything and anything youj want or need to make your stay enjoyable and comfortable in every way. The views from the lanai and the sound of the surf make this a relaxing place to be. The location enabled us to see the entire island of Maui in great comfort. We will definitely return.

Awesome place to watch the whales

My wife and I stayed here for the 2nd time just last month. The location is awesome (between Wailea and Lahaina) and it's much less expensive too as you can cook your own meals, walk to a whale watch or just sit on the lanai and watch the whales and turtles from there. I'm not kidding! We saw tons of whales breaching, blowing and just plain having fun, all right from the lanai. Ma'alea village is great and just a short walk from the condo. Good eats, shopping (cool crafts market) and the Pacific Whale Foundation are all right there. You can also book trips to Molokini or Lanai and just walk over to catch the boat. The condo is well equipped, especially the kitchen, and is very comfortable. And, if you are into grilling, you cannot beat the location of the 'que; right on the edge of the property just feet away from the water. Our typical M.O. was to buy our fish from Eskimo Candy (in Kihei) in the a.m. and grill it that night. No need to go out for meals constantly. The condo has a great washer and dryer too so you don't have to pack a lot of stuff. I could go on and on about this place but you need to check it out for yourself. Don't stay in Wailea or Lahaina. This place rocks!

Owner's Response: Yes; it's a great location with lots to do, but quiet and relaxing. We've owned 107 Milowai for over 20 years and yet that view with the ocean only 40 feet away and the beautiful volcano in the background...it gets us every time. I feel all the stress go away as I watch the volcano and listen to the ocean...of course, there are lots of whales to see in the winter and turtles all year round. Mahalo!

Honeymoon stay in November

Booked a stay at 107 for a week for our honeymoon. It was awesome! The pictures on the website don't even begin to show you the awesome view you get to see every day! It's also so close to many attractions, but the area where the condo is located is very quiet. Would definetly recommend!

Perfectly located

Central Maui might not be the place many think of when they are looking for a condo on Maui, but you couldn't ask for a better spot to be able to get virtually any place on the island. The condo is very comfortable, fully furnished and so close to the water that you can almost touch it from the lanai.

One of the nicest thing is the layout of the condo. Both the lanai/living room area and the bedroom are on the water side, so you can hear the water all the time - incredibly relaxing. Great spot that we recommend very highly.

Owner's Response: Thanks Rich...location really does makes a difference. Our condo is located near everything, but not in the middle of everything. We feel like we are off the beaten path but not inconvenienced. Our condo is also located 40 feet from the ocean, which is very unusual....and the layout of our condo locates the bedroom and the livingroom right on the water. So I guess it really is true when they say, "It's all about location, location, location!"

Maalaea Harbor is a 5 minute walk from the condo and has many boating activities - including snorkeling and scuba diving and boat trips for fishing and snorkeling. The Maui Ocean Center is a 5 minute walk from the condo; it is the largest aquarium in Hawaii - highly rated and popular. There are several good restaurants and shops only 5 minute walking distance from the condo.

Notes:
The 50' TV can be used to access downloadable TV shows and movies through Oceanic Cable. You can also record movies for later viewing using the 100+ digital channels and HBO. NO DVD player. You may setup the TV for internet access by editing the Wifi configuration using the Wifi settings provided at the condo. Then, you can download movies through your own personal Netflix account or access movies on Hulu through the Internet. I did not use these features myself since there are lots of HD movies to record on cable and HBO.
