BEAUTIFUL, OCEANFRONT, 1 BR CONDO AT SAND DOLLAR RESORT

The living/dining/kitchen and bathroom areas have recently been re-painted. Both are light and airy. The kitchen and bathroom were recently re-tiled. New food storage shelving has added to the kitchen. The water heater has been replaced to assure that you don't EVER run out of hot water. The dishwasher is a brand new stainless steel unit. In January, a new bathroom vanity was installed, along with a new toilet and bathroom hooks for hanging wet items. New prints were placed on the walls of the living area and a chest of drawers was also added (photos await our next trip).

Superb diving and snorkeling just footsteps from your condominium. In mid-October, 2012, Dive Friends of Bonaire became an on-site dive operation exclusively serving Sand Dollar owners and guests. Diving is available directly from Sand Dollar property, a scant 70 yds from the oceanside door. Tanks can be picked up from the same location for use at other dive sites. If divers or snorkelers prefer to work with Bonaire Dive & Adventure, it is only a few yards further. Each can handle all of your needs for equipment rental, instruction, boat dive, shore dive and 24 hr secure gear storage. Bonaire birding is excellent and Jerry Ligon, the premier local naturalist, can be hired through Bonaire Dive and Adventure to guide you around the island or take you on a fish ID dive. Restaurants, pool, convenient store, ice cream shop, wireless internet access and cell phone rentals, tennis courts and grills are all on site. There is also a new spa on site and a new gym across the street.

Sand Dollar is located approximately 1.5 miles from the town center, about a 20 minute walk.

This is a wonderful resort and unit with privacy, yet has the convenience of being close to everything and has a real feeling and comfort as a home-away-from-home.

Sand Dollar's house reef, Bari Reef, is ranked number one in the Caribbean's top ten sites for variety of fish species. The island of Bonaire was recently designated by the US National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) as having the most pristine coral reefs in the Caribbean.

The island of Bonaire is considered one of the world’s top dive destinations and is routinely voted the 'Top overall Caribbean/Atlantic destination according to quality of its diving,' and voted #1 in several other categories including, 'Health of Marine Environment,' 'Macro Life' and 'Shore Diving' (Votes conducted by Scuba Diving Magazine. In addition, Bonaire is also regularly ranked very high (first or second) in several other categories including, 'Best Overall Destination,' 'Best Value for Diving Dollar,' 'Best Beginner Diving,' 'Best Snorkeling,' 'Best Visibility,' 'Best Marine Life' and 'Best Underwater Photography.'
