Superb diving and snorkeling just footsteps from your condominium. In mid-October, 2012, Dive Friends of Bonaire became an on-site dive operation exclusively serving Sand Dollar owners and guests. Diving is available directly from Sand Dollar property, a scant 70 yds from the oceanside door. Tanks can be picked up from the same location for use at other dive sites. If divers or snorkelers prefer to work with Bonaire Dive & Adventure, it is only a few yards further and its dock is very inviting. Each can handle all of your needs for equipment rental, instruction, boat dive, shore dive and 24 hr secure gear storage. Bonaire birding is excellent and Jerry Ligon, the premier local naturalist, can be hired through Bonaire Dive and Adventure to guide you around the island or take you on a fish ID dive. Restaurants, pool, convenient store, ice cream shop, wireless internet access and cell phone rentals, tennis courts and grills are all on site. There is also a new spa on site and a new gym across the street. Sand Dollar also has numerous new chaise-type beach chairs placed along the waterfront for guest use.
Sand Dollar is located approximately 1.5 miles from the town center, about a 20 minute walk.
This is a wonderful resort and unit with privacy, yet has the convenience of being close to everything and has a real feeling and comfort as a home-away-from-home.

The Owner purchased this condo in 2010
Why The Owner chose Bonaire
We had dived in Bonaire several times, as well as in Roatan, Turks and Caicos, Bahamas, Dominica, Belize and the Florida Keys. The time seemed right to focus more on one locale. We do expect to continue going to different locations, but not as frequently.
What makes this condo unique
We love the easy access to the water and dive shop just steps away. Plus, we are only a 2-3 min walk from an ice cream parlor, two restaurants, small grocery store, deli and liquor store!
