Duneside - You cannot live any closer to the beach on Kiawah Island! This 4-5 bedroom luxury villa sleeps 10. It has been lavishly remodeled, with heart of pine floors, bead board wainscoting, granite countertops and quarry tiled bathrooms. Every bathroom is custom designed with sculpted basins and brass fixtures.

The master suite has a stunning ocean view, and includes a bathroom replete with shower/steam room. Four bedrooms have their own full bathroom and TV/DVD player. A small fifth bedroom accomodates one. The living room, dining room, and kitchen complex is open, airy, and overlooks the beach. From the balcony you can enjoy watch the moon rise over the ocean. The living room features a sophisticated entertainment center with flat screen TV and surround sound. So does the Master suite.     If canceled sooner than 60 days prior to the rental, refund of all but deposit.
    If canceled between 30-60 days, 50% refund, unless the renting party finds a replacement rental, then refund equal to amount new renters pay (less deposit).
    If canceled inside of 30 days, no refund, unless the renting party finds a replacement rental, then refund equal to amount new renters pay (less deposit).

five star accomodation--we loved it. Beautifully furnished Just a few issues--
1. the elevator kept making a noise and the call lights coming on. we called the resort but they were unable to fix the problem.

2. In additon, a lamp in the entry floor bedroom burned up--the plastic actually started to melt. Luckily, I was in the room when it happened and I immediately unplugged it and took it ouf ot the room. I called the resort on this problem as well but they did not come to fix it before we left.

3. You need a non-stick 8in sautee/fry pan for the kitchen
Owner's Response: I appreciate the feedback. The lamp and the sautee pan will be provided. As for the elevator, it seems to have a friendly impulse which makes it want to follow us, unbidden, from floor to floor. But as elevators go, it is harmless.

What a wonderful vacation rental! Just steps from the beach and close to everything. Ample room for four couples and pet friendly. Has an elevator, fully equipped kitchen, wi-fi and a TV in every bedroom. Lovely ocean view from the deck and a screened-in porch in case the bugs are bad (they weren't). Best of all, did I say it was pet-friendly? A real bargain with rent-sharing.

I have been coming to Kiawah Island for close to 40 years, and 1113 Duneside is one of the most beautiful places we’ve stayed. The location can absolutely not be beat, and the home is stunning, cozy and just perfect (as well as quiet and peaceful). And somehow the weather was incredible. Peter is so thoughtful, and you can definitely see it in the small touches he’s put into his wonderful home. From the well-stocked kitchen to the comfortable beds and amazing master shower, you can tell Peter has taken the time to think of everything. Thank you for sharing your lovely piece of paradise at Kiawah with us! We had the best time and will definitely be staying here on our next trip!

I have been coming to Kiawah Island for close to 40 years, and 1113 Duneside is one of the most beautiful places we’ve stayed. The location can absolutely not be beat, and the home is stunning, cozy and just perfect (as well as quiet and peaceful). And somehow the weather was incredible. Peter is so thoughtful, and you can definitely see it in the small touches he’s put into his wonderful home. From the well-stocked kitchen to the comfortable beds and amazing master shower, you can tell Peter has taken the time to think of everything. Loved the location and views as well as the accessibility to the beach. The villa met our needs and was comfortable. Also liked the availability of the pool. Would recommend this property to others.
