6 BR 4 BATH MAGNIFICENT BAY & GULF VIEWS WITH POOL

The house is clean and the beds are comfortable, however, the owner does not care about his renters or this property. The house sleeps 16, but there are 5 chairs on the deck, 3 of which are impossible to sit on because a bar tears into your back. The dishwasher is broken, so we spent our week washing dishes by hand. We contacted the owner about this and the management co. said someone would be out to fix it the next day and bring us more deck chairs, but, after several phone conversations, this was never done. The pictures had 2 hammocks that were not there. The owner said they were stolen but he didn't replace them with the $500 deposit????? The vacuum did not work. The pool pump quit working on day 3 and the owner "washed his hands of this issue" telling us to go walk on the beach, then. The pool became unusable early on morning and noone came to take care of it until 12pm the next day. Property had one couch and one chair for 16 people so we ended up sitting on coolers. Property grounds are not maintained at all. The deck gave splinters and 5 people had cuts on their toes from nails that were sticking up. There were weeds growing up through the deck stairs. The lights in the pool were broken so we were unable to swim at night. The phone in the house did not hold a charge for us to call the management co, so we had to call from our own phones. I would never recommend this property to anyone! Do not ever deal with this owner. We are reporting him to the better business bureau for false advertising and for refusing to provide any customer service at all. There are so many beautiful houses in Destin - rent from someone else!!!!
