Something for Everyone:
Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort is a full service Resort. Every amenitie imaginable is offered on this Resort. My Villa is located in the quiet North West corner of the Resort. My community (25 of us) just had a total make-over of our properties resulting in a 1.2 million price tag that one just recently sold for. This area of the Resort is very secluded and pristine with the Bay being just 50 yards from my back lanai. You are subject to beautiful sunsets and oftentimes can see spools of dolphins making their way across the Bay as well as sail-boats, paddle boats and the Solaris yacht that takes you on a dinner/dancing sunset cruise nightly. One of the largest outlet malls in Florida is located just 1 mile from the Resort. There are children's activities galore with professional supervision so the 'grownups' can get away for some special activities. The beach is less than a mile from the Villa accessible by bicycles, tram or driving (plenty of parking).
Activities:
As mentioned before, I provide 4 bicycles, beach chairs/umbrellas, fishing poles. The Resort offers at the Marina jet-skiing, para-sailing, canoeing, kayaking, sailing and snorkeling. They also have nature walks supervised by counselors for the children through the jolee forest. In addition they have pottery classes, golf lessons, tennis lessons, sailing lessons and nature hikes for the children. The grown-ups will experience the Wharf which is a mini New Orleans style city within the Resort. It has very upscale restaurants and shopping and more affordable venues as well. There is plenty of 'night life' at the Wharf should you want to 'step out' and you don't have to worry about driving home because the tram system will take you to your door.
