Whispers Villa sits within ¾ acres of private grounds, perched on a hillside on the island of Bequia. Bequia, measuring less than five miles by two miles, is one of the jewels of the Caribbean. Whispers itself looks out on Mustique and the rest of the Grenadine islands.

About The Owner

Whispers' owners, Alan and Claire, are in their late-40s, based in the UK, and still working for their living!

The Owner purchased this villa in 2008
Why The Owner chose Bequia

The owners, Alan and Claire, first came to Bequia in 2004. They’d been to some beautiful places in their time, but instantly fell in love with the island and with this spot, overlooking the Grenadines, in particular. As well as the incredible view, they loved how peaceful this area is, with the silence broken only by the whispering of the wind in the trees, and the whispering of the waves on the shore below.

By the end of their stay, they had decided to buy the piece of land Whispers is on now. And, over the next three years, they designed the villa they will one day retire to. Building started in early 2007, and they finally “moved in” to Whispers in July 2008.

We hope you love Whispers as much as Alan and Claire do.

As well as the incredible view, Alan and Claire love how peaceful this area is, how friendly the locals are, and the old-Caribbean magic that is Bequia.

“We absolutely enjoyed Whispers and our trip. Judy and Alan were very attentive and helpful (they even helped us find some fresh fish). As a point of reference, we have stayed on a number of islands renting various villas - everything was spotless and the starter provisions were an extremely pleasant surprise.
