This is truly a golfing paradise. Mayakoba El Cameleon (Greg Norman design) course is hosting a PGA event Feb 18-25 for the next two years.
FREE GOLF at the Iberostar Paraiso Golf Club. (cart fee applies) This course hosts the qualifier for the PGA Tour event on the Monday prior as well as a Canadian Tour Stop every May. That alone indicates to you the quality of golf in the area. Within 20 minutes, we have seven top cubs. For the golfer...I play to a 6 handicap and have worked 4 Canadian Opens and played most of the clubs in the Toronto area. These layouts are magnificent.
I also offer preferred rates for the Mayakoba and Mayan Palace courses.
This is fast becoming the most prestigious community in the Mayan Riviera. The homes range from 2500 square feet to over 6000 square feet and most are newly constructed. You can actually walk for hours on the beach in either direction.
Playa Morama is about 30-35 minute walk to the south and Playa Secreto is about 25 minutes to the north. You can actually walk into Playa Del Carmen on the beach in about 5 hours is you have the energy.

We live here full time unlike ALL the other owners who offer rental homes in the community. We are next door to seven of the homes that offer beachfront and oceanviews, yet we state that we are150 metres to the beach with limited ocean views. Do your homework.
