Great location, no complaints!

This property pretty much met all of our expectations. It was clean, nicely decorated, quiet, private, and in a great location. You can definitely walk to the Plaza, and it is a pretty nice walk. There were lots of towels and bedding and bathrobes. Everything was quite comfy. We used the washer and dryer, which was a convenience. We would probably stay there again although it was a little above our price range.
An extra nice feature is that next door there is a wonderful sculpture garden.
Here are our only concerns: The bulk of the property is garden level or below ground. It is cool as a result in the summer time, and very nicely appointed, but for those who need floods of light it will feel cave-like. Upstairs is a long narrow space containing only the kitchen and dining area. Everything else is downstairs so if you don't want to go up and down stairs, this is not the place for you. The hot tub is a nice idea, but not something you'd use during the summer (we stayed in August). Canyon Road is pretty chi-chi (sp?) and so we didn't want to spend much time there. There were no little shops to buy milk etc. anywhere near the place. The kitchen had very few spices etc. and is a galley style kitchen and it didn't seem like you were really expected to do much cooking there (and who would, with all the great restaurants in town!). The owner wasn't around, so we were pretty much on our own, which was fine for us, but if you need TLC from the landlord that might be a factor for you.
Despite these concerns, we had a great vacation, appreciated having our own parking space, felt welcomed and pampered, and would definitely recommend this place if the above issues aren't deal-breakers for you.
