Villa Nuestro Sueño
Spectacular ocean and mountain views
San Pancho is known as the ‘jewel of the Nayarit Riviera’ and Nuestro Sueño is an ideal location to enjoy the town and all it has to offer.
Nuestro Sueño is a Mediterranean style villa built on one of the highest points of San Pancho so that guests can enjoy spectacular views of the ocean and mountains all around.
The house is bright due to the high-ceilings and windows that welcome light and magnificent views. Terraces with palapas (thatched roofs) surround the house offering many spots to lounge or nap (‘siesta’). The interior of the house is tastefully decorated in Mexican style. The master bedroom (king bed) with a full en-suite bathroom is on the first floor and a second bedroom (two twin beds) is located on the second floor. The house also offers a separate suite/apartment (double bed) with a full bath and its own terrace that is accessed separately on the lower level. The gardens that surround the property are well manicured and boast an array of colorful flowers (‘buganvilias’). The roof garden offers a perfect setting for yoga in the morning and/or margaritas at sunset.
San Pancho is evolving and now offers golf, polo, and an array of restaurants to suit most tastes. Given its location so close to nature, the town maintains its rich culture and authenticity.
Whether you are a couple looking for a romantic getaway, a group of old friends needing to re-connect, or a busy family seeking a little adventure, Nuestro Sueño is for you!

The ocean, mountains and tropical forest makes San Pancho a very unique destination.
Magnificent views of the ocean and mountains and proximity to a traditional Mexican town makes your stay a memorable one.
Nuestro Sueño is an unbelievable place. The views from the terraces alone justifies the entire trip. This is not a hotel ocean view where you stick your head out the window to see the water; this is 300 degrees of unobstructed views of jungle mountains and the Pacific Ocean. We spent most of our time there enjoying the breeze which blows almost constantly. Your trip could be a complete success without leaving that spot, and after a couple of Federico's special margaritas you may not be able to leave anyway. But if you didn't leave the terraces you would miss out on the huevos rancheros at Celia's, which is something you really do not want to miss. I promise. San Pancho is not for everyone. It is not Cancun, or Puerto Vallarta or anything like that. There are no big restaurants or bars, and you will have to be as patient with people's limited English as they will always be with your limited Spanish. It is quiet ; it is relaxing; it can be adventurous (If you choose to explore and snorkel at some of the remote beaches in the area, that is. There were more sting rays than I have ever seen before, not dangerous, but amazing to see. The roads are rough, but the destinations are definitely worthwhile). I have been back just two days and it is a place I miss already
We were so delighted to see and experience Nuestro Sueno. Everything in person far exceeded our expectations. The villa is nestled up on a hill which provides peace and lovely views. There are several terraces with a variety of scenery, and the rooftop is an added bonus. All amenities inside were top notch and the beds were most comfortable. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking in and the hammock was used daily. Its easy access to town - everything is so close - and the hike back home always did us a world of good, especially with margaritas to make once we got there;-) Federico was on top of all details and quick to respond when we had a question. This one is not to be missed!
Spent a week with friends at Casa Nuestro Sueno. The house is beautiful and well equipped but the views are the jewel of this rental. The walk to town is a relative short one, you do need to be in good shape for the hike back up the driveway. It is worth it for the view. San Pancho is charming with plenty of nice restaurants and shops. I highly recommend this vacation getaway.
‘Relax and Regenerate’ are the essential words I would use to describe our experience of renting Villa Nuestro Sueno. We had a whole month, from Dec. 14 – Jan. 14, to enjoy San Pancho and the beautiful house on the hill. We wanted to get in shape, so each day we walked up and down the hill, did yoga on the deck, walked the beautiful beach at San Pancho, and ate delicious vegetables and fresh fish at home and in the many excellent restaurants. We became stronger, leaner, bronzer, and more flexible day by day. By the time we left, we felt and looked 10 years younger! It took some time to remember how to relax, and each day we relaxed more deeply. The house, with its incredible vistas, star viewing from the roof, aesthetic interiors, gorgeous gardens, fresh ocean breezes, and numerous decks, was an integral part of our relaxation. Even now, back home, if I want to relax, I imagine sitting out on the deck looking toward the ocean at sunset, and I go into a natural state of deep relaxation. Federico made our visit easy and pleasant – he is helpful, sincere, good at solving problems, and has a lot of great tips about the area. Whenever we had an issue, we easily contacted him and he resolved it. I highly recommend ‘Our Dream’ as a magical retreat home, a place to fall in love - or more deeply in love, a place to enjoy air and sun and sky and ocean, a place to dream. Would we come back? Yes, in a heartbeat. We are already imagining it!
There are two types of travellers in this world.
Some like to have their foreign cultural experiences spoon-fed in carefully-measured amounts. They like their food to taste the way it does back home, their surroundings to feel the same, to have the people speak with know their language, and their outings to be as carefully managed as possible. For these people, there are resorts.
Others, the adventurers, prefer to grow and learn from their journeys. They taste strange foods with gusto, peer around every new corner with excitement, wrap their tongues around foreign words, and jump into every new adventure - while still appreciating a comfortable place to rest their heads at night. For them, there is Nuestro Sueño.
Blessed with a commanding view of the roads and coast of San Pancho (not to mention stunning tropical gardens), and boasting gorgeous traditional construction and a lovingly-maintained interior, my girlfriend and I were lucky enough to enjoy the charms of this villa for six wonderful days while our hometown was as many degrees below zero as San Pancho was above it.
We shared amazing meals on the terrace and in nearby cantinas, used it as a base for exploring the surrounding beaches and towns, watched stars and sunsets from the rooftop terrace, and felt as comfortable and safe within its walls as we would at home.
Muchas gracias to Federico...who while unable to be there to greet us, was still as gracious and helpful a host throughout our trip as any we've ever had. We look forward already to our next visit.
(PS Don't miss Don Pedro's Monday salsa nights, or Maria's Thursday dinner).
Towering over a tropical paradise of mango and palm trees and the beloved pueblo of San Pancho...coupled with the spectacular vista of the ocean below and ever changing fantastico colorful sunsets. I sit and stare at the captivating beauty of Nuestro Sueno...my spirit connects to truth and healing, needing to go nowhere but right here and now to know Heaven is on Earth. From the first peak of my eyes greeting the magnificent days to the last blissful hour of the starlit nights I give thanks for my blessed time spent at Nuestro Sueno.
Multi-layered, bright and cheerful, Nuestro Sueno is a classy yet delightful place to eat and dance and share the most precious moments of life.
Thank you Federico for creating such a powerful space to experience this rare taste of Mexico!
You rose over and above the call of duty to insure my stay was complete...one that I will always remember.
I look forward to my return!
My husband and I are both writers and retired educators, who chose Federico's "Nuestro Sueno" to spend the cold winter months in a beautiful, tropical location, away from the hustle and tourist-dominated beaches of Puerto Vallarta, yet close enough for weekly shopping trips to the big, well-equipped supermarkets, as well as the excellent medical services Vallarta offers. We fell in love not only with his stunningly designed, comfortable, and beautifully decorated house, with amazing views of the ocean and the jungle-covered mountains all around, but also with the charming, friendly, progressive town of San Pancho, with a little bit of everything: small grocery and produce markets, a fish market, and a variety of good restaurants (Maria's has fabulous steaks, as does the Argentinian restaurant; another charming restaurant, Cielo Rojo, serves fabulous organic food and coffee, grown locally using sustainable practices; a couple of others serve vegetarian and vegan meals). We also found coffee shops, a laundry service, and even a wonderful community-based, non-profit organization that turns recycled materials into gift items, which are sold to benefit educational arts and literacy classes.
Federico our very thoughtful, caring landlord, who picked us up at the airport and took us to a supermarket to get supplies, on the way back to San Pancho, pointed out all of these local places on the "town tour" he drove us on, our second day there. He even took us to the local cell phone branch office/store, to help us get our own pay-per-call, Mexican cell phone: a real must, when calling taxis or making restaurant reservations. It cost less than $20. He also introduced us to Domingo, his taxi-driver friend, who gave us a good rate on rides to and from restaurants, on many evening occasions, as well as to Puerto Vallarta for big supermarket trips (and to the dentist; I got a new crown for $300!).
Though Nuestro Sueno is high on a hill, it's very walkable, and good exercise. I went downtown almost every day, on short shopping trips and explorations. San Pancho is a also a birdwatching paradise: just behind Federico's house is a great place to see painted buntings, mot mots, and others, in the early mornings, and there's a lagoon just south of the main street of town, with all kinds of water and shorebirds.
We've never had a more beautiful vacation, anywhere, than at Federico's Nuestro Sueno, and we recommend it without reservation.
