Beautiful modern three-bedroom, two-bath saltbox cottage nestled in the woods of picturesque Frye Island. Two bedrooms have queen beds, and third bedroom has two twin sized beds. Full bathroom on main floor and upstairs. The living and dining area is large with enough table room for 10-12 to dine. There is also a large three-season porch, as well as a deck with picnic table and grill. House completely decorated with Ethan Allen furniture. All the amenities of home in a quiet, secluded setting.
Located across the road from what the locals call ‘Moose Lagoon’ and a five minute walk to your choice of several western facing beaches. Ten minute walk to Cocktail Beach, where you can enjoy breathtaking sunsets looking out on White Mountains of New Hampshire.
Walk, bike, or drive one mile to ferry slip, general store, café and ice cream shop. Nine hole Geoffrey Comish designed golf course open to the public. Five minute ferry ride back to mainland (see Frye Island town website for schedule), where you will find shopping, restaurants, antiquing, mini golf, guided boat tours and other entertainment. The cities of Portland and Freeport (home of LL Bean) are 45 minutes away.
Frye Island is an island community situated on 900 acres and consisting of over 400 vacation homes. It is located in the heart of beautiful Sebago Lake, a huge, pristine lake with over 45 square miles of boating and fishing. Frye Island offers a variety of activities and amenities for vacationers including 13 beaches, marina, kids’ playground, recreation center, church services, outdoor pool, tennis and basketball courts, athletic fields, general store, restaurant, ice cream stand, and a 9 hole golf course with clubhouse.
