Why stay in a condominium when you can have your own beach house with private pool and spa? This house, owned by mystery/thriller author Julie Compton and her husband Rick, is located in Daytona Beach Shores, close enough (5 minutes) to the heart of Daytona to enjoy all of the attractions, yet far enough to escape the crowds! You can walk to the beach, a mere block and a half away, or drive your car right onto the sand if you prefer! A park with a playground, tennis court, and fitness trail is at the end of the street, and a block away on the river side is the perfect spot to watch the sunsets. The house is close to everything the area has to offer: the beach, the river, a water park, Daytona Beach Pier, Daytona International Speedway, miniature golf, shopping, restaurants, turtle sanctuary, Ponce Inlet Lighthouse, the Kennedy Space Center and much more! A short drive (60-75 minutes) from Orlando and all of its attractions: Disney, Universal Studios, Seaworld, etc.

This house was perfect for a relaxing vacation. They provided everything you need and then some. The pool and spa were fantastic. We loved the decor of the house and the location was perfect. I would recommend this property to anyone. Julie was so nice and thoughtful. It was a pleasure renting from her.
